She has it. The reason she cuts her hair so low is that at that length you don't see the hair loss as much. My hairline is going and I cut my hair around the same length as Jada and it makes it much less noticeable.

I saw a video where she talked about how she was starting to get a bald line going across the top of her head and it was getting harder to hide it.

I have it, even though I'm bald from natural hair loss & hereditary factors I had a few alopecia spots pop up in the back of my head abut 11 years ago. It took a few years but it eventually grew back. I've also dealt with it in my beard but it grows back quicker. I actually got a spot in my beard now.

I believe Jada's case is milder from the images I've seen or she could be bullshitting

I know three women who have it with varying degrees just like any other disorder. One went fully bald, the second had a large spot missing in the center and the other you wouldn't notice unless you were right on her in different areas of her head.

They never mentioned any threat to life or physical pain. However, there is more of a stigma to women not having hair compared to men. To you or the average man, not a big deal, but most women are trained from birth to take pride in their hair. It crazy to me how the world is saying we all should be more empathetic and talk all of the mental health shit, but im seeing comments like "the bitch is just bald or its not like it's cancer". Based on the people I know, they were self conscious about it to the point they didn't really want to be seen.

Now imagine this is someone you know and you've done your best to make her feel comfortable with the condition and some ass knowingly or not started making jokes at their expense.

I mentioned in another thread posted years ago that my wife has it. Her hair started coming out once she became pregnant with my second son.

Her hair started coming out slowly. Once it reached a point where it was getting noticeable to us. She became very sad about it. So, I told her basically, "It's me and you against the world. Fuck what other people think." So after that conversation, "I took scissors, and I cut her hair down really low. Then, I grabbed my Osters, and I cut it all the way down: Bald. She's been rocking the bald head for almost 25 years now.

We go places, and women come up to her all of the time and say, "You are so beautiful. I want to cut my hair like that, but I'm too afraid." Or, they'll say, "I want to cut my hair like that, but my husband/boyfriend would hate it." My wife's hair started coming out slowly in certain spots.
