Just from reading this thread does anybody know what this shit is about? Is it even worth me starting?
Just caught up on this season
They really going in a different direction now that they aren't constrained by the source material. The thing that really intrigues me about the show (and book I guess) is the portrayal of the different kinds of organizations and movements that would spring up after such a catastrophic and unexplained event takes place. I find myself saying "yeah, that's probably what would happen". The turning of the town into a National Park and ultimate tourist trap is just something only America would do
Only issue with this season is they seem to be jumping around a bit with the timeline and flashbacks which is kind of jarring. I'm hoping they've finished that now.

THis is episode was the very deifinition of "I am having a bad day" Damn! I am with everyone on this thread in that I'm waiting for the punchline. Now we have a pregnant vegetable and her husband is off to get eggs/shit/piss/rotten food thrown at him while he's chained up like a slave. Oh, and why is the brother hating?!? Burning peoples' cribs and shit! I already don't like his character. WTF....
Man again, wtf, this shit is crazy.
I can't stop watchin
Now they think it's a fuckin demon
And I'm sick of the baby bein left behind
They keep it crazy don't they. Nora was tripping because she started to believe she might be causing people to disappear just by being around. She was relieved when she heard the theory about the Demon because she knew that was just some ole B.S. that wasn't true.
It's kinda weird how Regina King's character had to tell off the whole town about all their crazy superstitions, but then she had one of her own that was just as crazy.
This season is kind of a mirror of the first season. In season 1, everyone was traumatized by what was happening when the departure happened. The people in Jardin are all fucked up over the fact that no one departed in their town and they can't explain it.

Wanna add that Regina King is looking crazy good and acting her ass off in this show. Hard to believe she can do this kind of stuff and then do the voices of both Huey and Riley Freeman on boondocks.
I was thinking the same thing while watching this. It also dawned on me how long she's been in the game. Sista is definitely a living legend.

It would make a tight episode if everyone who disappeared somehow got sent to another reality in the same space. And they are going around believing that everyone who was left in the current universe disappeared in theirs.
There was a Star Trek episode similar to that
What in the fuck
The palm print
Kermits dad was a pedo.
The endin![]()
