Issa Rae has a really nice smile.
What a great way to end the episode, at first I was like they are really dragging this relationship with this asian bruh..
the chemistry just didnt seem there, but that conversation in the pool...after "the incident" with the towel girl...
put the cherry on top and summed up the episode nicely and when her asian boyfriend defended her, you realize that the relationship is either gonna last the whole season...
or homegirl will find a way to fuck it up...
great way to end that show though.... and vacationing in mexico is the shit...

I can see all the reasons why you are against it. I will say if they do get back together, it won't be a quick thing. I will not be surprised if Condola is not totally out of the picture, since it seems he called both of them as soon as he got back from San Fran.

I think him and bank chick were from two different worlds (although she would be the most down probably because Lawrence would have been a step up for her). However, he treated her like a jump-off so he would have to do some serious apologizing..lol.
Condola would be a descent choice,but we are not sure where her head is at in terms of marriage and children (which is what he is looking for).
The irony Issa is a jump off that he chasing. Lawrence looking for marriage in Issa though naa. We would’ve had to wait it out with Condola before retreating to Issa
Issa would definitely consider marriage with Lawrence. Remember, in the last episode in the first season when she had that whole thing play out in her imagination including them having a kid together.
Look how disappointed she was when she found out Lawrence was planning on buying a ring (maybe he actually bought it, I wasn't sure if he actually bought it or was about to).
