I thought Nate was after her relationship with Lawrence.
I kind of view it differently. The issue with their relationship is Molly judging Issa. I can't really recall Issa ever outright doing anything to harm Molly and the only crime this season has been Issa giving her honest opinion about Molly's behavior with men.
Molly's reason for not helping Issa was kind of bullshit. The reality is that her and the Andrew are having relationship issues however Molly gave the impression that either she didn't fuck with Issa on that level anymore or Issa would some how hurt their relationship. The reality is Issa is somewhat right about how Molly handles her relationships and she may not want to admit it to herself. Issa more than likely would not have done anything to damage Molly's relationship.
I can't remember from other seasons if Molly has ever really helped with the block party but I felt like Molly felt left out once Condola came into the picture and was jealous of their building relationship. This was her opportunity to help her friend, yet Molly made the assumption Issa fucked something up and implied that Issa would somehow damage her relationship as if it were going great currently.
She had been trying to call and text Condola, Condola's been ducking her, probably because of what Lawrence said after Condola asked him if Issa hadn't of cheated on him, would they still be together. He probably admitted he still would be with her and was going to tell Issa what happened at her homegirl house when they were seeing the baby.

Yeah, just watched. It was really uncalled for. Molly's attitude is next level.
But we can't be 100% shocked at her actions. We have seen this before. Let's not forget how Molly acted at her own parent's anniversary when she found out her father cheated on her mother. I mean, even her brother had to tell her to let that shit slide because everybody in the family has moved on except her. Molly does not see her own issues can contribute to a problem. I could see if Molly's boyfriend didn't like Issa or vice-versa. However, they were all cool with each other. Look how happy he was that he helped Issa with getting the main act to show up. Look at his reaction when Molly started acting stupid. He was like, you didn't want me to help YOUR best friend?
Molly pretended like she thought it would be bad to ask for a favor on Issa's behalf. So Issa asked another mutual friend to ask instead. Dude was just as happy that he helped both his boy and his girl's "best friend"

Molly was definitely wrong with her reaction but we have to look at it from Molly's perspective.
Molly thinks Issa's messy and everything that she touches she fucks up. That's her opinion of Issa, and she didn't want to give her the opportunity to fuck things up with her and Andrew.

I really did try to give Molly the benefit of the doubt. I really tried. But....nah.
Even Molly's own man sided with Issa 3 times. First when they were seated at the event and he reminded Molly on sometimes having a lot on your plate can affect your relationship. Molly did the same with him. Second was when he told Molly himself that he had no problem helping Issa and was happy to do it. And third when he told Molly it wasn't the time nor place to make a big scene out of it. Molly ignored all of that and went for Issa's throat right then and there.
I can see if Andrew was a complete stranger to Issa but she still had a connect to him. Put it this way, if Molly was not dating Andrew, Issa could have still went through Nathan to ask Andrew for help.

Yes he knows they have issues. Many people in their group know they have issues. But nobody knows exactly what it is because they never had the talk. In fact, there is a scene in this episode when Andrew asks Molly what is really the issue with Issa.
And I understand what you are trying to say about Molly's perspective. It does not mean Molly's perspective is correct. It just means you understand how Molly sees things.
And this is why we are saying Molly is toxic. She thinks she has no play in this drama. To her, Issa is messy but she thinks she doesn't have any mess herself.
