She called herDid she even call Condola? Seems like she went from trying to book a new act to calling Molly. I was wondering why she never called Condola and ask her for her help. Maybe, I missed something.

Just finished the most recent ep. Both Issa and Molly have a role in the tension in their relationship.
Issa is correct that Molly sees her a certain way. But I don't blame Molly for making the decision she did. Her and her man's relationship was already rocky. Condola ghost now? And the ex Issa cheated on Lawrence with is back in contact? I think Condola was the reason Issa's headliner pulled out. Yep, all the ingredients to make a disaster is on the table.

She called her
Think I told y'all about Molly.
Think I told y'all about Molly.
She so traaaash
Starting a scene at her block party was just wrong...
I could see if Molly's boyfriend didn't like Issa or vice-versa. However, they were all cool with each other. Look how happy he was that he helped Issa with getting the main act to show up. Look at his reaction when Molly started acting stupid. He was like, you didn't want me to help YOUR best friend?I mean I see Molly’s point. She told Issa no and Issa asked one of her friends to holla at Molly’s man for help. She went behind Molly’s back and that was foul.
It was also fouls of Molly to refuse to help Issa but Molly thinks Issa’s messy and she didn’t want Issa to fuck anything up with her and Andrew.
They both have issues that they haven’t voiced with each other.
And they really ain’t gonna show is what happened with Lawrence?
Starting a scene at her block party was just wrong...
Yeah, just watched. It was really uncalled for. Molly's attitude is next level.
But we can't be 100% shocked at her actions. We have seen this before. Let's not forget how Molly acted at her own parent's anniversary when she found out her father cheated on her mother. I mean, even her brother had to tell her to let that shit slide because everybody in the family has moved on except her. Molly does not see her own issues can contribute to a problem. This...is..how..Molly..is.

Molly pretended like she thought it would be bad to ask for a favor on Issa's behalf. So Issa asked another mutual friend to ask instead. Dude was just as happy that helped both his boy and his girl's "best friend"
fuck molly stupid ass
It made no sense for Molly to react they she did. Look how hap

Molly was definitely wrong with her reaction but we have to look at it from Molly's perspective.
Molly thinks Issa's messy and everything that she touches she fucks up. That's her opinion of Issa, and she didn't want to give her the opportunity to fuck things up with her and Andrew.
Molly has no point.
Molly didn't want to ask because she didn't want to be the one asking her man for favors.
Cool.
So she asked Nathan for help and he talked to his boy.
Remember Nathan is how she even met Andrew
And remember Issa is the one who told her to take Andrew seriously lol
She wouldn't even be in her relationship if it wasn't for Issa.
She said I don't want to ask. Not don't communicate with my man she said she wanted to protect it and she did clearly
Molly is just mad that her man actually helped her achieve her dream that's what she's mad about lol
That when she goes home her "friend" didn't fail and it was her boyfriend who put her over the top
Cause that's what best friends do right?
Make sure that they don't ask for favors
And then go from there
Issa was homeless and jobless and stayed with Daniel and worked 2 odd jobs until she got on her own feet while Molly thrived at work
But Issa is always asking for favors
Lmao
I said "Molly's perspective", she isn't thinking about all that you typed. Just about Issa being messy, needy and fucking things up. Molly's perspective.
Molly was definitely wrong with her reaction but we have to look at it from Molly's perspective.
Molly thinks Issa's messy and everything that she touches she fucks up. That's her opinion of Issa, and she didn't want to give her the opportunity to fuck things up with her and Andrew.
And as I said
Molly's perspective isn't valid in this situation in the sense of actually being a reason to not help her
And that's your opinion. If I have a friend known for fucking up, I'm not gonna holla at my people to connect them with jobs if they're known for fucking up.![]()
Molly is acting like she owns dude. If dude didn't want to be bothered, he could have said no.
And again, I say fuck Molly because she could have took ten minutes to look at the contracts, correspondence, and payments between Issa and that other act. She would have known (and not assumed) whether or not Issa fucked it up or if dude was being an asshole.
That's overstating the ask and that's the issue lol.
She asked her can he send an email to see if an artist would say yes or no
Hey check this thing out and see if you want to do it
If he says yes we see what happens if he says no then he says no.
Not partner up
Not put his name as co creator
Not promise the artist anything
Just shoot an email lol
Molly was definitely wrong with her reaction but we have to look at it from Molly's perspective.
Molly thinks Issa's messy and everything that she touches she fucks up. That's her opinion of Issa, and she didn't want to give her the opportunity to fuck things up with her and Andrew.
If a person thinks everything a person touches turns to shit, then you'll try to keep that person from touching anything of yours.
I really did try to give Molly the benefit of the doubt. I really tried. But....nah.
Even Molly's own man sided with Issa 3 times. First when they were seated at the event and he reminded Molly on sometimes having a lot on your plate can affect your relationship. Molly did the same with him. Second was when he told Molly himself that he had no problem helping Issa and was happy to do it. And third when he told Molly it wasn't the time nor place to make a big scene out of it. Molly ignored all of that and went for Issa's throat right then and there.
I can see if Andrew was a complete stranger to Issa but she still had a connect to him. Put it this way, if Molly was not dating Andrew, Issa could have still went through Nathan to ask Andrew for help.
You're right about everything you said. Now my memory isn't as good as some you all because you fuckers remember credits and the colors of coasters on the side table but...
I don't believe Molly ever explained to Andrew that she had issues with Issa or did she?
So why has she been her friend?
Cause she definitely wants to be there when stuff does turn to shit to feel better about herself?
You're right about everything you said. Now my memory isn't as good as some you all because you fuckers remember credits and the colors of coasters on the side table but...
I don't believe Molly ever explained to Andrew that she had issues with Issa or did she?
Hey man, I can't answer that. They're women.
And she didn't "Really" want to go, she went because it was the "Right" thing to do and that's her "Bestfriend" as she mentioned when she saw Issa at the event.
She didn't
After this blowup he said oh I see and sided with her
Communication is not Molly's strong point
You're right about everything you said. Now my memory isn't as good as some you all because you fuckers remember credits and the colors of coasters on the side table but...

No she was passive aggressive hating
Even on the way he was like this is dope for your friend lol
He caped for Issa in a way that lets me know he didn't know how Molly felt
At the end he sided with his girl like he would have from jump if she talked to him.
As Andrew was caping lol
Yes he knows they have issues. Many people in their group know they have issues. But nobody knows exactly what it is because they never had the talk. In fact, there is a scene in this episode when Andrew asks Molly what is really the issue with Issa.
And I understand what you are trying to say about Molly's perspective. It does not mean Molly's perspective is correct. It just means you understand how Molly sees things.
And this is why we are saying Molly is toxic. She thinks she has no play in this drama. To her, Issa is messy but she thinks she doesn't have any mess herself.
