Has there every been a black QB out of college that scouts said was a sure thing?

Two black playoff QBs this year were told they weren't even NFL material (one of them has already won a super bowl). Newton went to the SB and was the MVP and they trashed the shit out of him coming out of college.. said he was too stupid to read NFL defenses. One of the scouts who is the highest on Deshaun Watson put a ceiling on him saying that at his best he might be as good as Alex Smith...smh.

Has there ever been a black QB in the draft where they were a consensus sure thing where muthafuckas didn't shit on them? The top QBs out of college this year are all black and now they're saying it's the weakest QB draft of all time and shit despite that trash that came out just last fucking year.

For perspective:

I would say Winston despite the other bullshit off the Field..

But yeah this is what happens when you have cac scouts and sports writers who do their bidding..

They will always deminish a black QB period and that's the only position they will do it

To be fair he said he shared some similarities to Alex Smith, which i think he does (Trubisky too a little bit). This QB class isn't that great. As much as we shit on Alex Smith, how many QBs that have come out have been as good as him?
A lot of teams dont have 1st round grades on any of these QBs.

Alex Smith isn't good.
We watched him get chance after chance and never do shit and it was never his fault
and we see him lead the Chiefs into nothing every year. He's a 10 year vet and can still only pass to his tight end can only run a rookie offense and can only focus on 1 wr at a time.

Yep Winston is a solid quarterback he just need to stop the bullshit outside of the game

Answer my question though. How many QBs that have come out recently (lets say the last 5 years) have been as good as him?

Andre Ware and Steve McNair are the only two I can think of; both mainly because they came out of pass happy offenses and showed in college they could make almost all the throws.

A ton of scouts were high on RGIII. Closeted racism did come out though when it was time to vote him rookie of the year, saying he played in a simplified offense and all that other dumb shit.

Dak
Jameis
Marcus Mariota
Teddy
Derek Carr
Luck
Russell Wilson

That's the past 5 years
and all of those are better than he is by far.
And most of those don't have the luxury of having a simple short pass let the wr do all of the work offense that they say people like Kap need in order to be successful with less reads and more quick plays to make up for his lack of arm strength.

If you want to know how NFL QB scouting really works, just look at the year Kyle Boller was drafted in the 1st round.

He and Reggie Ball had the same stats, and Kyle Boller had a 1st round grade because he ran a 4.6. Meanwhile Ball (who had 4.5 speed) went undrafted

White athletes always get the benefit of INTANGIBLES. Stuff like "Natural leader",""High Football IQ","Consistent", and shitty white QBs even get "Game manager". Black athletes just don't get intangibles in their favor. For them to get props, they have to clearly display something to get props for it(speed or arm strength.) We have come a really long way with Black QBs in the league. I remember when it was a huge thing to see one backup. Now young bruthas can actually see starting QBs who look like them and see themselves being one. IMO we will take over the position in my lifetime.

So 7 out of maybe 35+draft eligible. My point is that playing QB is hard as shit. A whole lot more fail than are even decent starters (which is how I would label Alex Smith)

Whites are desperately trying to hold on to the last position they have in Pro Sport where they are the alpha dog. Eventually the only whites in the NFL will be offensive and defensive linemen. They have already lost the NBA, baseball is predominantly Latino and hockey is getting a huge influx of black players. Pay these crackers no mind since these gms know that the black quarterback is where its at today

That's every position though it's not unique to the QB position.
Decent isn't a franchise qb though Smith has always been paid like he is one... which is the point.
The QB position is the hardest to judge/scout.
And damn near every QB is overpaid, that's just how the market goes now.

I'm not trying to derail this thread, but why Spectrum said you called him up sounding like Roger Troutman, cuz?

I vaguely remember them doubting mcnair too and making it seem like his stats were inflated bcuz he didn't face "real" competition playing @ alcorn state...somebody correct me if I'm wrong tho

It really isn't if you take the racial bias out of it
Dak was clearly the most accomplished qb in the draft last year had all the tools and was easily the best.

but when racial bias comes in you prop up goff who never won anything at cal
and a white cat from north dakota state.

It was a simplified offense and I hate saying that. It burns me up that I can't cape for RG3. I hope RG slows down and really studies game film and the position. He is still young and he can turn it around if take direction. I hope he gets another chance. I hope he proves everyone wrong and ball-out.

I get that, but it was as if RGIII had all his production handed to him, and Luck was damn near a coach on the field.

I hear ya. Kyle Shanahan did an excellent job devising that offense (East-coast offense). I don't like Kyle for the record. I don't like what he did to RG3. I won't take away what Kyle did for RG3, though. He essentially ran Baylor's offense with a pro flair.

Andrew Luck came from a traditional dropback pro offense. He was more NFL ready than RG3. Did you know that Baylor didn't have a playbook while RG was there. And if I remember correctly Baylor's receivers' didn't run the full route tree. They relied on speed and the spread offense. No timing and it showed when he got to the pros. One thing I don't get about RG is that he 'threw people open' in his rookie year. After that injury he didn't do that anymore. That made him especially dangerous when he threw receivers open and was a threat out of the pistol.

I know I am off topic, but watch what Kyle Shanahan does with whoever is the QB of the 49ers is. I bet that QB will have a very good year. Kyle is a genius when it comes to devising an offense. So is Sean McVay with the Rams. Damn the redskins had it good. It goes to show that defense wins championships.

Yeah McNair and Winston. Those were the only two QBs I can think of myself. But these scouts don't be knowing shit, that's why you have to have a good ass internal scouting department (hence Dallas).
Dak coach even said Dallas was the only team to make serious inquiries about him. That to me says alot about their internal scouting department.
