Harlem Globetrotter Fred "Curly" Neal has entered into rest.

Curly was my favorite, man.
I watched the Globetrotters as a kid at the St. Louis Arena where the ABA Spirits played. It was one of the biggest thrills of my childhood. R.I.P.

An incredible showman. What those guys have done for kids and families, amazing. It's still a tour now, but in the 70's and 80's, that was BIG SHIT when they came to town.

There are a few Globetrotters that deserve to be in the basketball Hall of Fame. Curly is one.

Fred 'Curly' Neal, the dribbling wizard who entertained millions with the Harlem Globetrotters for 22 years, has died at age 77 at his home in Houston. The cause of death wasn't disclosed.

Curly Neal was My Dude!
When my GrandFather took me to see The GlobeTrotters at MSG in the early 70s, I got to meet him and Meadowlark.
I was among a bunch of kids he was teaching how to twirl a B-Ball on our fingers.

This really hurts.
