Gym Rats...Gym`s closed what y`all doing around the house to stay in shape?

I'm back in the Gym, LaFitness Stone Mountain. Home workouts didn't cut it for me, I fell off a little. I wear my mask inside at all times. 95% of the members here do not wear a mask. I don't get it. They won't touch anything unless they wipe it down. It's an airborne virus! My entire circle smell like lysol at every machine I'm at.

bro, I went to the one in Austell and no fucking body had a mask on but me! I said fuck this! I’m out! Dude at the counter was like my man, we got spray bottles but I was like what does that do if mfs in here Re-breathing and exhaling that Rona? :hmm: Naw! Fuck naw! I’m out!

That was my old gym. Fuck that place. They definitely don't care about health and wellness.

went into mine yesterday to cancel my membership. Only the workers had on masks, and i think they were giving spray bottles to everyone. It wasn't that crowded, but still. I'll miss looking at all the chics, but it aint worth it. I got all the equipment i need, squat rack arrived the other day. The only thing i will miss is the chest press machine and the fly machine. Need to find some heavier dumbbells as well, but i'm good for now.

I canceled my membership yesterday, my health is my wealth. I approached the receptionist desk and glanced the gym and the HIGH MAJORITY of gym members were NOT wearing/using masks at all. I will improvise at home and skip rope in the garage or backyard

That’s what I did man! Got a rack, new bench, lat/row machine pull down with 300lbs weight set and extra bench with 55, 40, 25 dumbbells. The 55s can be connected to extend and make 110 barbell. Pull up bar on one door and got a longer T3 Titan Fitness Pull up bar coming which I’ll mount to another doorway to weight room. Heavy bag/speed bag is being set up with rope climb by balcony outside and getting my lil man a swing so he can chill while I rep it out. Fuck the gym

oh you got one of those? i've been seeing them on Amazon and thought about pulling the trigger. How do you like it?

honestly, it’s very versatile and nice vs the cost of the price gouging on Dumbells. I got most of my weights before the Rona so I’m good. I have no issues with it because it’s mf iron and it ain’t gonna lift itself. It’s still my muthafucking set even if there is Rona bro!

Ordered the titan version of the lat pulldown. Cheapest selector style version. They've raised their price at least twice since April. It used to be $999.

Started going back to my gym in July once our area reopened in phase 3

you have to download the app and book a time....You only get one hour for your workout or class and limited spots are available. They close for a half hour in between sessions to sterilize everything.

You have to wear a mask upon entering/leaving the gym. and anytime you walk away from your workout area.

They've installed extra sanitization stations around the gym and have distancing cues on the ground.

I've been surprised by how cooperative all the members are...everybody rocks their masks accordingly, wipes their equipment down before and after using and puts all their equipment away. I'm good with it...shits' really efficient, just gotta be diligent with the scheduling.

I was also surprised that I maintained my strength through the lockdown....the calisthetics helped more than I thought. I was moving past my PR's after a week back in..

That's nice. They got me about to pull the trigger on that Chest Fly machine they got. It's around $500, but looks solid as hell.

Ok.

Did some measuring and this will just fit to the ceiling

in my basement. I can get rid of my bench press

because this comes with a incline flat and decline

bench. Gonna look around a little more but

this looks like the set I need.

@gene cisco, this does mean the rack is included right?

This seems like a lot of new equipment for $2061.

Either they are hard up for a sell or they made a mistake.

I'm bout to cop right now before they change their mind.

What do yall think?

Thanks.

Out of stock.

Man, cop from Titan fitness. They got nice power racks with all the attachments available. Better hurry up though.

I got my cart load up! I wanted the T-3 rack system but it's too tall for my basement. I got some T-2 stuff in my cart but some is on back order. I think I'm gonna pull the trigger but I have to do some more research but I will get the T-2 system in the next day or two and I hope it will still be avail by then.

Thanks fam.

How do you like the MonkeyFeet? I am copping some now.
It's cheaper than the machine I was going to order. You may not be able to use the usual weight that you would use on a machine. You should be able to do some things you wouldn't be able to usually do. Overall I think its a decent piece of equipment.
