Yep. Thanos is as bad as Crixus aka Slade "Deathstroke" Wilson on both TV shows. Motherfucka gonna try and end the galaxy over the affections of a bitch that won't even speak to him.

Was one of my favorite lines of the movie. I don't know why but it had me laughing for awhile
Because he was tested on, a freak, I believe the racoon insisted on picking on the handicap because he knew how they felt to be deformed but he also enjoyed being thw abuser.

Kevin Feige Teases GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY 2 Plot and Villains

Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige sure does love to talk about his movies, which is one of the things that makes him such a cool guy. During an interview with IGN he talked about several aspects of Guardians of the Galaxy, teasing the sequel's plot and discussing Thanos and a few other villains from the universe.

If you haven't seen Guardians of the Galaxy yet, you may not want to keep reading any further. So let's go down the line of questioning!

When asked about Peter Quill's father and his importance to the story, he said,

"I think it's pretty important. I think there's a reason we seeded it at the very end of the film like that. I think that would certainly be part of a next Guardians adventure. Certainly, that would be part of it."

Feige confirmed that we wouldn't learn about this little aspect of Quill's life until the sequel, saying they "would wait for the next Guardians adventure." He then added,

"I think that's pretty important for James [Gunn] and would be appropriate in a [Guardians movie]. I don't think you'd spoil that in Cap 3."

He' was asked about Nebula and if she would return for the sequel. She was one of my favorite villains of the movie, and I would have liked to see more of her. I hope they explore this villain further, because she's such a badass!

"I would say any character that doesn't overtly perish is certainly fair game to come back. If people know the comic lore, Nebula has a lot of varying different roles to play over the course of a lot of different titles in the comics. We have somebody like Karen, and you have a look that is so weird and so great. I think that's something we'd all like to see again."

Hell yeah, we would! IGN brought up Thanos and how we have yet to see the full scope of his power. They went on to ask him if he felt they needed to highlight the consequences of Thanos' wrath, to which he replied,

"That is an excellent point to make. I don't know. The truth is, anything I say would be a spoiler, frankly, on that. I don't think it's required. I think you could go right into a Thanos-centered movie and tell the audience anything you need to know. But the fun of our universe is that the characters can pop up in multiple franchises, so... perhaps. It is a good question."

I'm looking forward to the day where we see Thanos' power fully realized and displayed on the big screen. It will happen one day, and I hope it happens with the Avengers and Guardians teaming up against him. When asked about that team-up and how the two teams would get along with each other, Feige said:

"You know, the fun about The Avengers, as we we're gearing up to that, was 'how would Tony Stark deal with goody two-shoes Steve Rogers in World War II?' What would Tony Stark think of a Norse god who wields a hammer? The brilliance of Joss [Whedon] was having fun with that. So who knows if and when these guys would ever connect, but it is fun thinking about, how would Steve Rogers react to Rocket? Or, you're right, Drax couldn't even have a conversation with Tony Stark! [Laughs] I have a theory that the more time Drax spends with Peter Quill, the more he's going to start to learn, perhaps, that people aren't always as literal as his species would assume."

There's a lot of good food for thought here, and all of our questions will be answered, and (hopefully) our hopes and dreams will be realized when Guardians of the Galaxy 2 is released in 2017.

Did anyone read the Thanos mini a few months back? They were trying to say Death's persona was only his subconscious? That's scarey shit.

Funny you mention that, I just read that day before yesterday. Pretty fucked up to think that it just his mind the whole time. In a way it's kinda cool that he was pretty insane from the beginning despite being treated relatively 'normal' and not the product of the cliché "terrorized by everyone" schtick.

Is this from the Thanos infinity revelation? I heard he shits on all of the Annihilators in that one.:lol:

I like the story where Thanos is watching the Crunch and Death comes to him looking like a little girl. he complains about the pedophile looking form, and she says I'm Death, not comfort.:lol:

I just read his Annual, shit was cool. it basically goes back to the days of the cosmic cube and how he got past that first humbling defeat.

peace

i have a confession... I've never read Infinity Gauntlet.

Is it good or does it read like any other arc that turned me away in the 1990s?

Same here.

Had to put all that down when it got too spaced out, nerdy & expensive for my taste @ the time.

These brought shit to light for me as I do remember now bits & pieces from Iron Man & thumbing through a few FF back in the day.
Duke from Halt&CatchFire was the perfect fit as he did his thing!

The archer had that throwback 60s/70s mohawk though as shown

Didnt read but am familiar with the images.

Now will someone end up playing Nova repping the Nova squad or is that not that important overall?
