why? if you're getting it for GTA 5 as I am...what more does it really offer besides improved grafx...we both know the extra $$$ ain't gonna be shit...and the new cars/weapons won't be either...or is there another game or other reasons why you're getting it? playing video games is largely a visual experience...not gonna front on grafx being a large factor when it comes to games

My honest opinion is "wait and see."

My rank, money, and everything I own will carry over to next gen. What are they offering that's significantly better, gameplay wise? Will there be casinos? Heists? Ability to own mansions? More than two garages? New cars, clothes, things to buy? New game modes, like cops n crooks, gang takeovers, etc? More content?

I'm sorry but if you're selling point is ability to own pets, more fish in the ocean, and better detail on Trevor's shit stained tighty whiteys I'll wait.

Plus, the game came out like 2 months or a month before online mode launched? :lol: who's to say that same thing won't happen again?

ya I'm just flirting w/ the idea of picking up a PS4 but I'm not sold yet...I'm waiting for actual user feedback and not just what they're "promising"...and ya I seen a dude on god mode on friday while rolling w/ crew...I just went into passive mode whenever he came near me...eventually he left or got kicked off

Its all about being a gamer, man. Of course one will want the latest system/tech. I havent pulled the trigger on the ps4, bc of launch bugs and lack of games. Up to this point in gta, running with crew is all thats left, imo..If they fix at least half them damn wall glitches, drop a heist or two, and more crew/friends make the transition to next gen, then i'll gladly cop gtav.

NHL 15 - this game is really fun to play , never seen a hockey game in my live but I might buy this game when it gets cheaper

And some free psn+ games I got the 12 month card for $40 , I think is worth it with the free games you get each month
Velocity or whatever is called is really good , plus u need this to play online now

man I'm cheap as hell trust me I can wait til there's a $100 price drop or they drop a 2nd gen model that works out all the little kinks if I don't like what I see/hear...I have NHL13...def a fun game...I follow hockey loosely...but the gameplay is exciting tho...I haven't played it in a minute tho cuz of GTA...I'm mad you downloaded NBA live tho even if it's just the demo :lol:

:lol::lol: damn lsn you can wait that long?! shit!!! to be real im getting gta5 for the xbox one.the online is just way better.i agree infamous is a beautiful game but boring as hell!!!i got it the first day an was bored like 2hrs later.i dont like the way he moves its like a run stop movement.didnt like it took it back.watchdogs was just garbage.looks sound,everything was bad on it.im getting forza horizon 2 at the end of the month i cant wait for that.its looks real as hell.see im a graphics guy an i know gta 5 will be the shit with all the new songs an shit added on it.im not playing my ps4 till drake comes out cause all my games im getting will be on my xbox one.

If you buy a 40gb digital game or disc it don't matter the game will install 40gb either way to the hard drive
I imagine gta 5 remastered will be 50gb minimum, the last of us is 44gb

When u put the disc in for the first time the full game installs to the hardrive but you don't have to wait , you can start playing after a few minutes , it keeps going in the background
The disc only spins in the beginning when you start the game after that it stops

And I was going to cop the walmart bundle with watchdogs and an extra controller. I'm assuming you are saying watchdogs sucks?

And I haven't been on in a while because I fucked up when I first played GTA by doing Lester's jobs before the heist so I played it again to get the billions. Then I let my son play and he saved over BOTH them fucking game saves so I just said fuck GTA! :lol:
 
i got a 2 tb hooked to my xbox one so im cool on space.i have a 3tb i just knocked today from best buy for $90 marked down cause of a open box i might switch but i dont think it will be much price difference on the new systems this black friday.it might who knows.yea benq easily 50 or more gb for the gta 5.

Ps4 comes with a 500gb drive & after the os you get like 400gb free space

You can buy the 2tb drive for $100 comes with a plastic enclosure you have to break open , you can use the enclosure with the ps4 drive so you get a little 500gb portable drive after all is done

tablets are the only spur of the moment purchases I make...other than that I take my time buying shit...between netflix amazon GTA 5 NBA 2k I still get a lot of entertainment out my PS3...I still have a couple games that I haven't even played yet...it's not gonna take 6 years for a price drop as benq suggested...I expect to see one either after the holidays or around this time next year...and there's still no "system selling" games yet...they have the same games for PS3 basically

once it installs the game...do you need to have the disc in after? swapping discs is something minute to complain about but it's something I could do w/o nonetheless

The disc needs to be in there the whole time or the game won't play

I'll be buying gta 5 ps4 digital cause I'm gonna be playing the game the most & I'm too lazy to get up & change the disc

In the future I'll rebuy the game on disc just to have it psn might not be around 20 years from now who knows , when is $20 or $15 in the future


Games like batman or uncharted 4 I will buy on disc not that much replay value to me

In gta you commit crimes

In watchdogs you stop crimes

Which one u think is more fun

Plus the watch dogs graphics look like a ps3 on the ps4
 
To those that don't have next gen systems yet, you might wanna check Craig's list. My friend bought a ps4 with infamous for $300. Both were brand new in original packaging.

I'm looking in Houston and I'm seeing some Xbox one's for about $350 with the kinect....

I’m just out here working hard every single day, just trying to be the best poster I can be....
 
graphics looks crisper no doubt, but it's not the jaw dropping difference between ps1 - ps2 and ps2 - ps3 though

Leroy you seem to get a lot out of just killing random players and you're playing an outdated NBA 2K. I don't see any reason for you to rush and by a new system. But the PS3 side is already dwindling in activity. My main reason to upgrade is for 2K and Barman Arkham Knight which got pushed back into next summer. I remember you saying you wasn't getting GTA 5 but peer pressure did you in.

R* is gonna give the majority of the updates to next gen. Those new cities they talked about adding like Liberty City or that snow lvl from the prologue more than likely ain't coming to last gen. Heist will be a selling point to get the NG version. It will be on last gen aswell but they're leave something out to make u feel like the NG edition is the way to go. All the Xbox crew regulars said they upgrading around September. We have to keep our presence known.

I got a month and change left in bad lobby for absolutsixthree.

But i'm out on those los santos streets on my other character nopullout.
