Got them test results back

Well, my taste came back yesterday. Baby girl retested positive but she is up and at em. Now wifey went back and got retested after she started feeling like shit, and her's came back positive. She's going thru the worst of it now. So, I'm tending to her needs the same loving way she did for me.
I won't take this shit as lightly as I have been. Just glad it's not the death sentence it started out being last year. :frozen:

Bro u got a cold

How could you possibly know that without knowing his health condition and what type of shape he is in?

I had it without vaccine and lived to tell about it along with hundreds of thousands of other people.

I'm in good health with no underlying conditions plus now I have natural immunity.

There is no natural immunity..

Doesn't change the fact that recovery is 98%. And there are vaccinated people that experience long term effects as well as vaccinated people that die, nothing is 100%. Sure the vaccine is supposed to lower the chances but there's no guarantee either way. And that's not me saying you should or shouldn't get vaxxed, that's me saying the long term effects can happen on both sides.

Lol how do you know vaccinated people experience long term effects? Vaccine been out only since January...

Fact is 99% of people needlessly dying are unvaccinated.

What’s so damn hard about getting vaccinated? Why would you not want to be vaccinated? Even if it increased your chances of living by 1%, that 1% is better than no percent. What’s wrong with you niggas? You might as well go raw in prostitutes since a condom aint 100% safe.

Idk if you wanna use that analogy, don't you get the bbfs service from the Kgirls

I’m conflicted and I’m gonna try to say this as nicely as possible.

If they don’t care to get vaccinated which could possibly their lives in they event that they catch Covid and they experience the bad symptoms which could lead to death.

Then why should I care?

The vaccine doesn’t stop you from getting it, it just helps you not die.

If they’re not worried about their lives, then why should I?

You do know that there is a list of long term effects of Covid that is documented and still being updated right? Simple google search can give you a list of those effects from reputable sites. And there are people vaccinated and unvax that reported still experiencing some of those effects after recovery. You can look those up too if you care to. The world of information is at your fingertips.

Pretty simple to understand, don't see what's hard to get about it.

1. Some people don't want to end up on the wrong side of the vax and have their lives severely impaired or die due to complications of the vax. Sure you can say that that only happens to 1-3% of those who take the vax, but it could also be said that only 1-3% die from covid in general.

2. Some people don't trust the government or believe that it's a conspiracy and would rather tough it out. Especially with the crazy wacky incentives they've been pushing out to get people to get the shot.

3. Some people have had covid and had mild to no symptoms and therefore believe there is no need for them to get vaccinated as their immune system is believed to be doing them just fine.

4. Some people believe alternative medicine options are just as good, if not better than being vaccinated.

5. Some people have allergy or medical issues that prevent them from getting vaccinated as it could lead to a serious complication or death.

Covid hit last year....how the fuck would you have anything long term documented? There hasn't been enough time passed yet lol wtf...

Post-COVID Conditions

Although most people with COVID-19 get better within weeks of illness, some people experience post-COVID conditions. Post-COVID conditions are a wide range of new, returning, or ongoing health problems people can experience four or more weeks after first being infected with the virus that causes COVID-19. Even people who did not have COVID-19 symptoms in the days or weeks after they were infected can have post-COVID conditions. These conditions can present as different types and combinations of health problems for different lengths of time.

These post-COVID conditions may also be known as long COVID, long-haul COVID, post-acute COVID-19, long-term effects of COVID, or chronic COVID. CDC and experts around the world are working to learn more about short- and long-term health effects associated with COVID-19, who gets them, and why.

  • Difficulty breathing or shortness of breath
  • Tiredness or fatigue
  • Symptoms that get worse after physical or mental activities (also known as post-exertional malaise)
  • Difficulty thinking or concentrating (sometimes referred to as “brain fog”)
  • Cough
  • Chest or stomach pain
  • Headache
  • Fast-beating or pounding heart (also known as heart palpitations)
  • Joint or muscle pain
  • Pins-and-needles feeling
  • Diarrhea
  • Sleep problems
  • Fever
  • Dizziness on standing (lightheadedness)
  • Rash
  • Mood changes
  • Change in smell or taste
  • Changes in menstrual period cycles

Man, this rona is crazy as fuck! No sense of taste or smell. This is the weirdest shit I have experienced in ever. 14 days of vacation. 14 days of isolation.
Wonder how bad this shit would be if I wasn't vaccinated....

Most likely at the the ER losing oxygen with major breathing problems, like a 24 year old friend of mine who recently went on vacation unvaccinated for her girlfriend's wedding in Vegas thinking shit is sweet. She tested positive for COVID-19.

She's lucky to be alive. After she got stabilized at the hospital, she lost her taste, smell, along with heavy flu symptoms and currently recovering at home.

I never knew how much I would appreciate the smell of my farts or shits til after dealing with COVID earlier this year. Them 2 weeks of COVID were terrible especially when trying to sleep at night only to wake up to random hot flashes that drenched the bed.

Unfortunately a few months later I lost a longtime childhood friend to COVID. He went on the ventilator and never came back

Not sure if serious.....
Yes. If you you catch Covid your body develops antibodies that fight Covid. The vaccine does the same thing that your body does naturally.

Eventually both will decline over time so I might get the vaccine eventually unless they come up with a better solution.

I got my blood tested to measure antibodies for COVID-19 Spike Ab IgG AU and it was 18.2 AU/mL.

If you have had covid, they still recommend you get vaccinated, but if you've received the monoclonal antibodies then wait 90 days,.

2. If you had COVID-19 and were treated with monoclonal antibodies or convalescent plasma, wait at least 90 days before getting a COVID-19 vaccine. A number of patients have received convalescent plasma, which is blood from recovered COVID-19 patients; it is authorized for hospitalized patients. Another treatment, monoclonal antibodies, aims to prevent high-risk COVID-19 patients from having to be hospitalized. Monoclonal antibodies are given as an intravenous infusion to patients who have mild to moderate symptoms of COVID-19 and are at high risk of their illness becoming severe. This includes people 65 and older and those who are obese or have medical conditions such as diabetes, obesity, or kidney disease.

All the vaccines are based upon exposing a person to the spike protein, which is found on the surface of the virus that causes COVID-19. This exposure is what stimulates an immune response. Monoclonal antibodies may stay in your system for up to 90 days, and they might neutralize the spike protein in the vaccine and prevent the immune response from occurring, Dr. Goldberg explains.

Aren’t antibodies enough to protect me?

If you’ve already had COVID-19, aren’t the antibodies your body built up to fight the virus enough to protect you in the future?

“We don’t know how long your immunity will last after you’ve had a natural COVID-19 infection,” says Dr. Englund.

She says recent research focused on how long immunity lasts after having COVID-19 is unclear, and scientists believe it could be up to eight months. But, she clarifies: “The study to determine that information included only 200 patients, so there’s not a whole lot of data yet. And the best way to ensure you’re protected is to get vaccinated.”

Dr. Englund notes that for those who’ve had COVID-19 and have long haul symptoms (also called “long hauler syndrome”), getting the vaccine seems to help them finally recover from those lasting symptoms.

“If you have long COVID-19 at this point in time, please consider getting the vaccine,” Dr. Englund urges. “It is not going to make you worse — and there’s a small chance that it might actually make you feel better.”

How long should you wait to be vaccinated if you’ve had COVID-19?

“The time frame that we recommend for being vaccinated after having a COVID-19 infection is as soon as you’re out of quarantine,” says Dr. Englund.

There is one caveat, however.

If you’ve received monoclonal antibodies, you must wait 90 days after recovering from COVID-19 to receive the vaccine. According to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), monoclonal antibodies are proteins made in a laboratory that mimic your body’s immune response. Dr. Englund says some people might not need to be hospitalized for COVID-19, but might receive these antibodies from their doctor as an infusion treatment to help fight the virus.

“If you’ve had that monoclonal antibody, it is going to keep you from being able to develop a nice, robust response to the vaccine. So that’s why we have to wait for 90 days until that monoclonal antibody has gotten out of your system.”

@killagram has had covid 3 times, there are numerous people who have gotten covid a 2nd and 3rd time....some times less severe than the first....other times more severe....

Like @Camille has posted, even if you got Covid and recovered it is recommended that you get vaccinated.

Give it 5-10 years before you start talking about "long term"

How the fuck can you talk about long term effects for something that's only been around since Jan 2020

Nobody knows yet

My daughter bounced back from that shit like she never had it! She was down for 2 days and have made a full recovery. This got me and my wife to thinking that at this point, she really don't need the vax. I'm sure her body will make the anitibodies. But we will have her tested for them.

Good to hear you and your family recovering.. another war story to tell in the future

For anyone who recovered from Covid, if you have what's called "long haulers" effects, meaning any leftover symptoms still lingering as I did, my 'two cents' suggestion is to follow this protocol.

All my symptoms were gone the week I followed this. Same for my son and wife.

Also I suggest taking twice a day, for recovery and prevention, NAC, Glutathione and Quercetin.

I'm back to running, haven't felt this good in a long time and not sure if it's the Quercetin or NAC, but my lungs and breathing are great. No sniffles or 'junk' residue whatsoever.

Anyone still feeling anything post-Covid, consider the link above.

That Nac is a muffucka...got my lungs feeling good, and it also stops hangovers... brah
