I finished the new season yesterday afternoon at home on Hulu.
Frank Lucas debuted in episode 2 and showed how ruthless and cunning he is in his debut.
The season mainly deals with Bumpy trying to get away from the heroin game and rebuild his legacy on uplifting Harlem. His wife was trying to do the same with Black culture in Harlem.
Bumpy’s daughter goes full militant joining the Black Panther party. The actress who plays her looked Smashable with the Afro she had on. Her thickness was highlighted in the tight tops she wears.
Joe Colombo decides to go Militant against discrimination against Italian American’s. Being I’m probably the last person to watch season 4, for you cats that watch the episode with Joe getting shot back when it first aired back in June, Joe went out like “Charlie Kirk”. Go check it out if you forgot. Curious to see if Disney plans on reshooting that scene.
James Baldwin and Truman Capote debut. Frank Sinatra debuts. Muhammad Ali debuts, but the actor who played “Jerome” that he was talking too ironically looked like a young Ali than the actor who played Ali.
A big twist came up with Nat jumping ship at the end of the season.
Majority of main plots from the last 2 seasons were closed, a number of new plots and questions came up this season. Season 5 should wrap the series up set it up for spin-off series.
