and that would've been fine and probably would've gotten alot of traction and support even from the larger body of black diaspora in america but they specifically sort out N cherry picked random isolated incidences to attack foreign black ( A VEERY DELIBERATE ACT!) and anyone with even one foreign great-grandparent under the guise of advocacy, thereby muddying up a just claim! what did praising trump & reagan & blaming obama & black immigrants and not voting have to do with "set asides" or reparations?

I understand the threat of not voting...gotta shake up the establishment some how....its a useful tactic especially when used to filter out candidates (rank and file Black America is not responding however as they love Biden)...and yes, it can also be manipulated into a voter suppression tool as well which is the danger of such a tactic... it has been hard to tell the agents from the real on both sides (ADOS and those who speak out against it)...there are genuine people in the ADOS movement and genuine allies in the diaspora and beyond...hopefully they all can get past the agents (it will not be easy)

Meanwhile, you have what appears to be the ADOS movement crowd talking about Democrats and coons in response. Cool, vote Republican, independent, write-in candidate. Why is there such a push back on voting period in this thread? Why am I a coon for supporting voting and being knowledgeable on all issues on the ballot? Why isn’t the ADOS movement suggesting and pushing for being informed?

Writing is on the wall. There is a movement in this Country to push for our People to note vote period. To not be educated on the issues (regardless of how they impact us). School funding redistribution is tangibles. Funding for transportation in notoriously underserved Black areas is tangibles.

what alternatives have they put forward, what solutions have they brought other than their demands ?
what is their record on social justice other than armchair internet revolution?
how long do they suggest we sit out the voting process if the dems dont bite on all their demands?

and what happens to all the folks struggling right now , who will pick up the slack for struggling black folks in the interim while they are busy playing politics with people's lives

Old black ladies healthcare is being decimated, housing is being choked for poor folks ,

Just because I don't state it...doesn't mean I am not aware of all the questions you raise...and they are all valid questions...the agenda I saw spoke about other things beyond reparations but reparations is the only thing grabbing the headlines...I believe this is a mistake but have no idea why this is so and who is driving it
The spirit of revolution can outgrow even those who try to manipulate it and contain it...whatever started the movement, the people can take it another direction....this is what I am hoping for....a Trump re-election would be rough to say the least...that is no excuse for being taken for granted by the other side who is also culpable for this same system...there needs to be mass participation...I hope they are working on that (they may be, I don't know)
I will definitely vote just like I did last time while knowing that voting won't solve all or even most of my problems....I understand what not voting means and that there is a concerted voter suppression effort (which is bigger than Russian interference IMO and doesnt get the media spotlight it should)

there were enough non voters in three states to get 45 elected. if certain demographics voted in their usual numbers in those states 45 would have lost the electoral college.

that small number matters. even that video that i posted made that clear.
