<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">R&amp;B singer</span> <strong style="font-size: 12pt;">Ginuwine</strong><span style="font-size: 12pt;">, real name</span> <strong style="font-size: 12pt;">Elgin Baylor Lumpkin</strong><span style="font-size: 12pt;">,&nbsp;has fallen on hard financial times. According to his lawyer,&nbsp;</span><strong style="font-size: 12pt;">Bruce Beckner</strong><span style="font-size: 12pt;">, he'll soon have to file for bankruptcy.</span></p>
<p></p>
<p><span class="font-size-3">“Mr. Lumpkin is very close to declaring bankruptcy,” Ginuwine’s lawyer, Bruce Beckner, told the <a sl-processed="1" rel="nofollow" href="http://www.nydailynews.com/entertainment/gossip/exclusive-b-singer-ginuwine-verge-bankruptcy-article-1.2005052" target="_blank">New York Daily News</a>. “He owes my firm a ton of money and a bunch of other people a ton of money. He owes Uncle Sam 300-odd thousand dollars in back income taxes.”</span></p>

<p></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Buckner says his client's divorce from&nbsp;</span><strong style="font-size: 12pt;">Solé</strong> <span style="font-size: 12pt;">has contributed heavily to the 44-year old's money problems. He's also facing a lawsuit from&nbsp;</span><strong style="font-size: 12pt;">Robert Reives</strong><span style="font-size: 12pt;">, the executive producer of his certified double platinum-selling 1996 debut album,</span> <em style="font-size: 12pt;">The Bachelor</em><span style="font-size: 12pt;">.</span></p>

<p></p>
<p><span class="font-size-3">Reives claims he's owed <strong>$1.25 million</strong> in royalties from a 5-album deal Ginuwine signed with <strong>Sony</strong>. He's asking the court to award him <strong>$250,000</strong>.</span></p>
<p></p>
<p><span class="font-size-3">Ginuwine believes Reives claim is outside the statute of limitation and therefore isn't valid. The two sides will argue their case in&nbsp;Manhattan Federal Court Monday.</span>

Marriage-Never
Marriage to a chick who can't break bread if you can't..Never
Any money he does earn will go back to her ass for support out the ass. He's fucked.

Damn. Bitch left him when his money got funny. These negroes gonna learn one way or another!

Yea, divorce has a funny way of doing that. Had no idea they split.

Good luck brother. Dude has been through a ton of bad luck in his life. Wish him the best.

Dude has always seem like a weird train wreck to me.

this is what happens when popping bottles days are over.

He's the one who damaged the tour. Unreliable and addiction issues.

Case tours to this day and eats pretty well. He only had 3 songs worth a shit. Ginuwine's discography shits all over Case, he just needs to get his mind right and get clean.

this is what happens when you divorce your wife who also happens to be your manager and accountant

Interesting how Black Social media headlines are all laying the blame to his money problems on divorcing Sole when there are at least 8 underage kids with 5 or 6 other baby mamas, not to mention 300k in back taxes and multiple other lawsuits. He had a good TGT gig that he completely fucked up without any help from Sole by not being clean, sober or reliable. And somehow his current poblems are HER fault?

Didn't help that his personality is shit too. Been around him more than a few times and he's iffy than a MF.
Sometimes he's cool but most times he's on an ego trip. That whole, "Don't you know who I am" trip. Oh well.

If Joe, Case , and Eric Benet can tour and make money. Ginuwine def can. He just needs to get bac on his feet. he can easily make money and pack venues

A tour is imminent. It's the oldest trick in the book. Claim bankruptcy so he owes the taxman the bare minimum from his tour money. You heard it here first.

Timbaland fucked G over, he decided to uplift a CAC and left Ginuwine in the dust

I was living around the corner from him in Brandywine, I used to see him and Sole all the time. I hadnt seen them in a minute I guess this explains why. We talked a couple of times at the post office he was cooler than I expected.

Can't make $ touring? Can't sell a record? Out of options? He's going to be on a VH1 or Oxygen reality show. Pimping yourself on reality TV is the new come-up for down and out celebs.
