Sad. They just had some trade in specials at Gamestop where everything I traded in to them (PS4, X1, games) came out to about $450 in trade credit that I used to buy the discounted PS4 Pro and XB1X. I legit paid about $440 for both new systems. I know the stars had to align but it was a sweet deal for me. So yeah they do rape on trade ins but when they don't...you can definitely come up.

my problem with digital is i like playing games like 20 years from now. what happens when sony or microsoft stop supporting the online service for their system and your hard drive dies. cant play the game anymore. i dont like not having my access to any game because of an online service or a hard drive. i never buy digital unless i absolutely have to.
not every system gets an emulator. im still waiting on an emulator for the original xbox....
People prefer physical copies but that's where the discounts that Best Buy and Amazon give come into play. I only get a game at Gamestop if it's an exclusive physical copy for them. I cant go all digital due to lack of space to store it and the fact that we are still paying the same fucking price. Steam does well because they have tons of sales. But Amazon Prime + Gamefly works for me.
I used to fuck with the disc. But my kids play my PS4. They are loosey-goosey with the disc man. As much as I stress put that wack ass 2k in it's case. That shit be laying out ready to be crushed. Plus taking out disc seems a bit "dinosaur" to me. Digital for the win. Fuck a GameStop. When is the sell tho?
what i hate about gamestop is that say you buy a game and you dont like it and return it 20 min later and they give you like $27 or $30 for a brand new $65.there worst then pawn shops.good i hope they do go out of business.all the times they ripped me off.
Did you guys get any lag while playing using an external HD? I had to delete some shit to upgrade a few games and I was thinking about changing the internal HD but if I can get away with external, so much the better.

Been using it since Christmas, no issues game wise. However, installs and updates do seem slower. Noticeable, but not a deal breaker.
GameStop doesn't have a monopoly on physical sales..there are other options to buy from other places..hell you can order physical copies to be mailed to your crib..prob dying due to , them having to many stores and other options

Last I remember dont the game even with the physical copy needs to be fully installed on the HD to work.

Yes you can.. but let’s say you have some game not finished yet. And GOD Of War comes out, have to delete something and by the time you get close to finishing that. Another game come out like red dead redemption.
Go the disc route and laying back on the couch playing a game, now you got to get up to change out disc.
I DL’Ed Madden 18 and my shit was glitching like crazy, it was freezing on the intro screen.
I ended up buying the physical copy and no problems.. I emailed PS for a refund and they have it to me.. I deleted the game
