They spilled the beans on Ser Jorah Liking Dany. That wasnt supposed to be revealed until the 2nd book.I LOL At Tyrion getting the best of Lysa and the rest of the fools at the Eryie.
 
Love this show...outside of Lord of the Rings and Gladiator I don't fuck wit Medieval shit but I'm glad I tuned in. It's indeed comparable to the earlier exciting seasons of the Soprano's and the earlier seasons of the Wire. This shit go hard!

Im listening to the second book and they give hints for it later in the book..


The books have great character development,I have no complaints with it at all....

i fux with this show, HBO continually brings the heat, I want to read the books now. And like the rest of yall i dont usually mess with fantasy as a genre, but this is just politics of a different era, not chasing around some gay azz ring

This is the best show this year.....imo

I feel like the Queen is going to have Ned killed or something, and it's going to cause the House Stark to declare war on the kingdom and Snow is gonna come down off the wall in righteous fury and anger.

Those dragon eggs are going to hatch.

The wanna be king guy is going to be killed.

And i don't think Snow is Ned's son. I'm thinking Snow is the King and Ned's sister's son...and Ned is keeping it a secret for some reason.((that's how i'd write it))

I think the imp is going to make it out alive. Somethings going to happen to put him in Mrs. Starks good graces i think.

But the brother Lannister dude...he's GOT to die. He just HAS too.

I like the fight with him and Ned and his facial expressions because it felt like he knew he couldn't just beat Ned toothsweet like that. I think he felt some doubt. And Ned started gettin some confidence. Ned was getting into battlemode.

That Lannister dude is going to be bothered now because he's gonna be like DAMN...Now i'll never know if i could've beaten him. He wants to be vindicated somehow. He's seen throughout the kingdom as a coward, a punk. And him beating Ned would've been a personal SUPER victory for him.

Keep watching. You're close on some of it. Trust me, the shit gets murky as hell and there are secrets within secrets. It's politics and alliances gone awry. Tell you this, you will trip once you figure out Jon Snow's true lineage. He's a Stark for sure but a whole lot more. You will have to look past the obvious.

Also, honor has no place in this game of thrones. Ned, his father and his brother miss the boat on this. Robert understands this but is too addicted to pussy and wine to pay attention. Ned should listen to his wife or the "Little Finger".

Glad you diggin it. The sad aspect to this is that Game of Thrones (and the whole Song of Ice and Fire series) really is one of a kind in the fantasy genre. Thats why you see so many failed adaptations of Fantasy literature in the movies and TV the genre still mostly deals in black and white, good and evil. It's the shades of gray that make things interesting.

The other thing that Martin (the author) did which is different from most fantasy is that he wasn't afraid to let major (even principal) characters die (and stay dead). Dealing with death (real and imagined) leads to a lot of character development in the series

By the end of Episode 7 I was like -

This is why I don't want to read the books(No Colin) or listen to the audiobooks - I love the surprise at the end of each episode - reminds me why I like a good TV drama
