Its a popular manga franchise. Anime came out in the late 90's. They rebooted it into a trilogy a few years ago, and a new series based on the later arcs of the Manga is supposed to be coming out soon.

Lotta fantasy horror elements in it, but the first arc is a bit 'game of thrones' like (political scheming).

It's a lot like the wire is showing you different angles of the same puzzle, often you aren't able to see the connection of the piece you were just shown at the time but it showed itself eventually . The story of each character gets you to care about different characters only to see them slaughtered.

See I read the look between Sansa and LF differently. She was taking pride in everyone rallying for Jon. It seemed to me she realized that it would be short lived/threatened by LF when she caught his look, and that's why I thought the smile disappeared. I don't think she would willingly hurt Jon.

I like this...everybody saying sansa will stab him in the back and I can see her trying but failing but I'd rather believe this...after what she said to LF in ep 1 this season I can't see her trying to align w/ him even if it's to serve her self-interests...unless she ends up being another cersei...short cheese bitch
