Game Of Thrones: The Sopranos with swords or Dynasty in chainmail?

Man Jeffrey's grandfather Tywin is gangster as shit. The nigga road his horse up in the kings chamber and the horse took a dump in there and nobody said nothing. I wonder how he acted around Jeffrey's Father. Why is he just the hand of the King and not the King himself? He is clearly the most powerful character on the show. Man reading the Wiki I'm just now finding out that Stannis is Jeffrey's uncle. This show is the truth.

They're called birds of prey for a reasons. Humans are really woefully ill equipped naturally.

 One of the most majestic creatures on the planet.

HE MAY NOT WANT TO BE THE KING AS THEY ALL KEEP GETTING KILLED , ALSO AS FAR AS SUCCESSION HE WAS NOT NEXT IN LINE TO BE KING AS THE FORMER KING WAS HIS SON IN LAW AND NOT HIS FATHER. HIS GRANDSON IS THE KING, BUT SHOULD NOT BE BECAUSE HE IS NOT REALLY THE FORMER KINGS SON, AND IS A PRODUCT OF INCEST BETWEEN TYWIN'S ELDEST SON AND DAUGHTER. ANOTHER REASON MAY BE THAT IT WAS ROBERT BARATHEON, (THE FORMER KING) WHO OVERTHREW THE "MAD KING: TO CLAIM THE THRONE.

Tywin is concerned with his families "Legacy" more than anything else. He doesn't care about flossing or titles; he just wants his family name to demand respect and inspire fear. He was had of the king for the Mad King too (many assumed he ran the 7 kingdoms then) and he is very comfortable being the power behind the throne. Tywin understands it's safer to lay low and wealth is power

I dont see how they can have a better episode this Sunday then last week

Unless Jeffrey gets killed , is gonna be hard to beat

In Game of Thrones no episode is better than the 9th of a season. Season finales just set you up for a long 10 months of anticipation

Bingo! Tywin explained this to Jaime at the start of the war during the scene in the tent when he was skinning the animal at the onset of the war. He stated that not only he but Jaime, his sister and the rest of them would one day all be dead and the only thing that would remain would be the family name and it needed to be upheld at all cost. Tywin has been this way and even despised his father to a certain point because he almost ruined the family name. Also, Tywin didn't go to war because his son Tyrion had been captured but more importantly because a Lannister had been captured and that Lannister was his son. Hell, if we recall the speech Tywin gave Tyrion when he asked to be named heir of Casterly Rock, Tywin basically told Tyrion that he didn't like him and the only reason he was still walking around able to talk shit was because he could not prove he was not his son. Tywin sees Tyrion as a blotch against the Lannister name not only in size but in behavior as well.

That said, Tywin's pursuit of greatness for the family name makes him predictable to a certain degree. Insult the name or threaten it and like clock work he will act. To me, the real puppet master is Little Finger. He has no army, he's a self made man and he studies the strengths and weaknesses of all those around him. He caters to what they covet. I think he will play an important role to the very end of this story. I believe Cersei is formidable but she's limited because she's a woman. She would have been a true heir to Tywin if she were born a man. The chaos speech by Petyr to Varys caught my attention big time.

George R.R. Martin "Game Of Thrones" Spoilers

George should be doing that new diddy dance, rich bastard.

Just rewatched the red wedding..... Only hope for the Starks is Jon Snow.

he needs to finish up those last two books so I can get the audiobook set

Like I said in the spoilers thread, the 6th book probably wont come out until 2016 or 17...He has too much stuff coming out...

He has "The Wold of Ice and Fire",his other series called the Wildcards, his version of the "The Silmarillion",a few more Dunk and Egg novellas, and many more stuff pertaining the "A Song of Ice and Fire"

There is a video of him saying he got 25% done for the 6th book....that's around 300 pages....On top of that,he goes to alot of convections around the world....:smh::smh::smh::smh:

he looks like he is a hamburger away from a heart attack so he better hurry

Maybe immediately, if he can unite the crows and wildlings ... but long term - Bran the Super Warg and Aria the Assassin

Mr. Lengthy

I agree with Jon Snow theory! He already started with bitterness and an outcast mentality. He was raised by Ned, trained by Mormount, educated by Aemon Targaryen, guerrilla tactics by Mance Rayder and Qorin Halfhand not to mention he's a Dragon rider (IMO). As tough as Arya is she's a girl, remember how all the stark kids loved and looked up to Jon? I think he's gonna restore house Stark with impunity ...Bran, Arya & Sansa will gladly assist.

supposedly, he told the showrunners how the story ends in case he dies before finishing the books:dunno:

I saw him on a panel at comic con in San Diego last year and he said the showrunners are the only ones who know how the story ends. They already put hints in the first 3 seasons to the end of the whole thing

Yeah but they have the freedom to end it how ever they want. George is listed as producer but that's just to please the fan boys he has no say in how the show is ran

The show runners would be classified as fan boys too. I doubt they would change the main characters storylines

naw they are classified as business men, lets face it, most people who watch the show have not and will not read the books, so they can do as they wish

You knew Stringer was going to get got, but people liked the character especially the ladies so they were disappointed. The same thing can be said for this Robb character. The women like the dude playing him.
yeah i know chicks that stop watching the wire when stringer got shot...

I took calls on my radio show the night Stringer was killed in Detroit and there were soooo many girls upset over that shit

Word? When did that happen?

I haven't read the books but I fuck with this show so much that I think i'm gonna start reading them this summer..

Co-sign the Jon snow theory...I also think Arya's gonna become a force in the future too, she's had various strong useful influences throughout her experiences in the past couple years, And another thing I've observed is that two really key influences in her life have been cats from Braavos (the "dancing" instructor, and the faceless assassin). Earlier in the season when Tyrion became Master of Coin he mentioned that Kings landing is in serious debt to Braavos and they may come and collect..I might be completely off base but I'm speculating that maybe Arya gets down with Braavos Army and comes back to Kings landing and gets her revenge that way..

So, I note that Sunday's episode is titled "Mhysa". Joffrey challenges Tywin. Wtf?
