When the creator and book writer is onboard for the show it makes a big difference. Martin wasn't gonna let them show runners fuck his shit up like those Walking Dead runners are doing with that show. And really, Game of Thrones (the books anyway) is so deep and well thought out that you can't change even the smallest aspect without fucking up the end game he's probably writing.
 
I'm intrigued with the developments in Bran's character. I'm really curious about the extent of his warg powers. Can he control people from a great distance? Can he control multiple animals/people at a time? Can he control whitewalkers/wights/others? I already have my theory about him tag teaming with Jon, who I believe is a dragon rider, for the one two punch with him warging the dragon! :dance:
 
Ya the Red Wedding was such an intense scene for me it overshadowed what happened w/ Bran...but rewatching it lil dude had some amazing scenes being able to learn how to possess animals of his own volition and possibly humans...I know he was able to possess Hodor but that dude is so mentally challenged he's barely a step above an animal in intelligence that being said Jojen can't do it so it is quite an accomplishment...even tho I'm familiar w/ the main spoilers I DO NOT KNOW much about Jojen Reed...so what I'm about to say is honest speculation based only on the show...idk if it's just the actor's face but something about him doesn't come off as right...I'm not sure whether or not he's on the up and up...they just trusted him and started rolling w/ him

I don't know about your speculation but I can see what your saying that kid does have the face of someone destined to be a dickhead. He just has asshole boss written all over him.

If they hadn't gotten the kid they have now playing Joffrey he would have been a perfect second runner up for that role and I could see him nailing it.

Jojen & Meera Reed are the twins of Howland Reed, who is Ned Starks best friend and greatest ally. Howland is The Lord of Greywater watch and his family are the mortal enemies of the Freys. They are basically swamp people of Westeros...their sigil is a lizard lion or an alligator. Howland is the only one who knows what Ned promised his sister(Lyanna) before she died because he was there, he's the last man standing. When Jojen and Meera met Bran he told them he saw Ned's beheading then informed his father and it was the only time he saw his father (Howland) cry. He then sent the twins to show his enduring allegiance to the Starks

Seems like some cats can't resist the urge to post spoilers, even if it's encrypted or something they think non readers wouldn't get. I personally have not read one page of the books and ran the fuck up out of the wikis when I realized they were spoiler laden. I just like to speculate based off what I've seen on the show and the little youtube vids about the back stories on the different houses.

Anyone with common sense can decipher they these corny ass posts , these cats get off at trying to be the first to say they said something, fucking attention whores I tell you. Most forums I go to shit like this would not be tolerated, posting spoilers is lack of respect to other members and should not be tolerated

I enjoy the show too much to read or listen to books first; but after each season I read book to get the details then re-watch the season. It opens up a lot of stuff after the reading.

As a book reader, the show has been a real pleasure to me. They've been able to bring out some real nuances in the characters that the book didn't really show. Tywin is a good example of that.

The funny shit is we used to ban people for doing that dumb shit back in the day. I don't know why we stopped. I've thought about asking a mod about starting it back up but didn't want to be on some whiney shit but its looking like it might be necessary since people can't seem to control themselves.:smh:

You shouldn't have to though especially when there is clearly a thread that is for people who've already read the books.

I think this thread title should be changed to add "no spoilers" and it should be made clear that from then on out spoilers are no longer allowed or tolerated and anyone who clearly posting spoilers should be banned.

Or maybe if its even possible have individuals who post spoilers banned just from this thread but not the entire board. I don't know if its possible to only ban somEone from just one thread but if it is that might be the best option.
