You right. I'm new to the series even though I watched all three seasons in like a week. I see this is the kind of show where there really is no good or evil, right or wrong. It's just real shit. Anybody can die, anything can happen. Real talk the Starks just didn't have it in them. I wonder was they intentionally written like that? Did the writers intentionally make them vulnerable to all these cut throats on the show? Its almost like there is no chance they could defeat the Lanasters.

Tully's have been slaves and servant's to the Iron Born for a large part of their history. Riverlands have no natural boundaries to protect them from invaders. Tully's have been generally passive and needed alliances to remain safe.

well if you remember she had to earn the respect from her husband FIRST. she learned the language, learned to fuck him and learned to govern and be supportive. he cosigned her and then the people saw what she was and cosigned her.
those lessons are why she is where she is.

she got grey worm in there with the meeting and shit. you can see he's still hesitant. since he became an unsullied he has been shitted on, told he was worthless and useless. NOW he actually is a leader. the queen actually values his opinion. that goes a long way. he will swear by her. and the rest will die for her. for being free to even choose to do so or not.
AND she has dragons. she is fair and compassionate. but strong. she's literally gone through the fire to be where she is now.

Keep in mind this shit is a fantasy show. A wolf and a direwolf are different beasts . Direwolves apparently roamed with mammoths and animals of that nature. They are bigger than a normal wolf. That's why everyone in the book and show shook of them
