Game Of Thrones: The Sopranos with swords or Dynasty in chainmail?

One thing y'all haven't discussed is the magical element of Red Wedding. Y'all are quick to give Tywin credit for masterminding it, but did y'all forget that Stannis wished three people dead with kings blood? I think the show gives more weight to the magic than the book does.

I just watched the episode again and I'm still blown away.:smh:

And Stretchwalz, your synopsis was on point and had me laughing out loud. Only you could mention Antonio Cromartie in a GOT thread!!! :lol:

Just watched it again. I swear...I sat in silence afterwards for like 5 minutes just like the first time. Shit is heavy!!!!

I've had a lot of thoughts/predictions about what will happen going forward as I've watched up until now....but at this point...I'm like....damn...there's no telling what the fuck is gonna happen up in this bitch. :confused:

I'm tempted to read the books just to see...but the show is so damn good....I may have to wait a couple of years til the show runs its course then read the books.

I ain't gonna lie my dude. I knew what was coming, and still when they killed Grey Wind (Robb's wolf), I called my dog over and gave him a hug. :(:smh:

Same here

In the immortal words of charles ramsay, when rains of castamere played that shit was a Dead Giveaway!

I think it's cool how they change things up a bit to throw of book readers (like myself). Robbs wife gettin shived like that caught me off guard. In the books its implied that she wasn't there and that her mother was partially in on what was to come.

:lol::lol::lol::lol:

funny people were acting the same way about The Walking Dead when certain characters got merked :rolleyes::lol:

Really shows how much people invest in characters
I know mainly about the fates of the Lannisters ,so this episode was shocking,stirring,and disturbing everything it was supposed to be.

:lol::lol::lol:

best part watched this like 4 times .

:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

The hate is still strong....:lol::lol::lol::lol:

What nightswatch? :lol:

This was made 7 months ago but nothing is revealed or spoiled that hasn't been portrayed on the show I haven't read the books and I clearly understood all of the references as they applied to plot points of the TV series.

:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

I keep forgetting what movie this is....:lol:

I've never actually thought about a show in my sleep. And I woke up thinking about the shit.. I knew something was up once dude all of a sudden a pretty daughter. Plus Rob's wife looked nervous the entire show. On another note...that Bolton dude and Tywin look just alike. When they first showed dude I was like "How this bitch, ain't know that Tywin Lannister is sitting right next to her." Another sign was when Frey told him if he didn't want to offend him he shouldn't have brought his wife with him. From the outset I was waiting for Frey to deceive them. I honestly thought he was going to refuse in the first place..I thought he was basically going to tell him get the fuck out..... Sad thing about this episode is there is no way they can top this with the season finale.

The thing that made the episode so epic was the fact that never in the history of popular shows do the most popular characters constantly get taken out in horrific fashion.

Just watched ep 9 last night. I've had to avoid the board and my emails for the last 2 days and I'm glad I did.

HOLY SHIT :eek::eek::eek:.

I haven't read all of the latest post so if this was answered forgive me. But do you guys think the Uncle and the nephew Edmure were in on the plot. I mean he conveniently gets up to take a piss right before it goes down. The Uncle i'm sure had to know. Edmure i'm not so sure about. He just looked happy as hell to not be marrying one of them Broom Hilda looking daughters. :lol:

The uncle saw those ugly chicks earlier and didn't want to stick around for the after party.

At least thats how I saw it.

Edmure is dumb and had no clue, he'll be a political prisoner and he is Lord or Riverrun

Blackfish Tully is somewhat of a nomad, he rejected the life of nobility many years ago. No way he was in on it he loved Cat as his own daughter. He's more comfortable in the wild he was only there for appearances, I'm sure he could feel something going down once he got outside and laid low

im surprised robb was so popular wit ppl, i know he's the so called good guy in the show but he's a moron who made moronic moves, i cant think of 1 strategic move he has made that i agreed wit

Yeah I didn't think Edmure was. Thanks for the Uncle's name by the way, I couldn't remember that shit for nothing. I was hoping he wasn't in on it. That shit would have been cold as hell.

We need a gif of his face when he looked over at those chicks and they smiled back at him. :lol::lol:
Naw the scene at the wedding when Rob was checking her out and the Old Frey dude looked at Rob like he was saying "not bad right" was much better

Littlefinger was ready to back Ned up if I recall but Ned wanted to do shit the "right" way instead of making a powerplay

Disagree... Littlefinger never had Ned's back...Catelyn has always been his goal. She was always engaged to the Starks for political reasons. Littlefinger resented that his true love could never be with him due to these "Starks" he tried to physically fight Brandon and lost. He realized that battle was their way so he would destroy the Starks through subterfuge and win Catelyn. He rose up to in KL and made it to the small council, then Lyanna Stark is abducted, Brandon (who beat his ass) rushed to KL and is taken prisoner, his father is summoned to testify on his behalf and all 3 Starks die!?? Littlefinger controls pussy and money in KL...Varys stated he's the most dangerous person in the 7 kingdoms. All actions are based on incentives; and Littlefinger only incentive has been Catelyn. He told Ned to his face "I told you not to trust me" when Ned made his move. Ned was under the assumption the City Watch would back him because Littlefinger (the man that paid them) was on his side. He wanted Ned out of the picture for marrying his woman...I think he had Jon Arynn killed just to get Ned to KL so he could ruin him, Littlefinger also planted the seed of a Lannister assassination plot on Bran in Catelyn's head when she arrived in KL, which started the war of 5 kings through Catelyn capturing Tyrion.

Littlefinger is not to be fucked with...he's got a castle and is set to be Lord of the Vale soon. An army follows, no way the people responsible for Catelyn's death go unpunished and he's gonna get Sansa one way or another (she's a younger Catelyn)
