Game Of Thrones: The Sopranos with swords or Dynasty in chainmail?

What music? and dude was just passing on the message that Jaime Lannister told him last episode. He said give Rob Stark my regards.

The Rains of Castamere. They mentioned on the show several times that it is Lannister's theme song and what it means to their enemies.

I agree that the Freys broke the customary deal but it was only after Robb broke his deal...Im not saying what they did is right, because it wasnt but Robb's inability to listen to people didnt help either..

You dont kill the lord of a house and then expect his banner man to follow you, that was plain dumb...He could of kept him as a hostage, until after the war ended

Im not saying if everything would of gone well, the Freys wouldnt betrayed him but Robb made everything alot harder for him,his house and the North banner man and I have no sympathy for him,for being so fucking stupid...

Dont they do that anyways....Hell,Tywin just did that a few episodes ago and everybody was co-signing what he did,so why is it any different for Catelyn...

Tywin as LORD of Casterly Rock can betroth his children to whom he chooses... Cat wasn't Lord of Winterfel and head of family, so how could she betroth Rob? Ned was still lord and if Ned was dead then Rob was lord and head of family....

I will tell you who won't die.

Aria
Bran

Jon
Jaime lannister
The dragon chic

I haven't read the books or wiki but I am sure they will not die, btw anyone who has read the book fuck off and don't reply to this post we don't care what you know or think

Interpret the above anyway you wish...

:devil2:

Just from watching this season alone it's clear Roose Bolton and his ppl had very little regard for Jaime Lannister...Roose was hospitable to him only because of what appeared to be fear of Tywin Lannister as he kept insisting that Jaime made it clear to his father that he didn't condone his hand being cut off...Roose didn't respect Jamie's wishes enough to even let him take Brienne w/ him when he set him free...I don't think Jaime was a factor in this...I think Roose Bolton just cleverly used that line as a play on Jaime's words...and Blackfish had to pee

word? you dont think jamie knew what the plan was?

you dont think roose told him, even though he wasnt sending him back to robb?

roose was the mole/rat/turn-coat. he & jamie discussed what was happening.

thats why jamie said sarcasticly, give my reguards to the starks.

that was her uncle.

blackfish dipped!

the plot unfolds like chess not checkers... Tywin started putting this into play since last season... Tywin and Tyrion actually think the same way -if you go back and look at the moves Tyrion made when he came to Kings Landing - you'll understand why Tywin was almost always writing

Great point...although I still thought it was fucked up that he did that...I actually felt a bit sorry for Cersei of all ppl...@ least for Tyrion it was a come up...virgin bride...ties to the throne in the north...Cersei went from being the Queen to being a sissy's princess bride

when the band at the wedding changed songs, they started playing, the rains of castimere, which is the lannister's theme song. which is why catelyn looks up at them in confusion, and realizes that something is wrong.

what's fucked up about it? Unless you are the heir to kingdom the duty for the other prince and princesses is to be married off for political gain. Can't have whoever is in charge worrying about his brothers and sisters trying to slit his throat

I''m going to peggy back my question with yours and hope that someone tries to answer it.Because essentially they thought an apology with a substitution would be all that was needed to suppress a blow-up. Well? Anyone?

Salt and Bread better known as Guest Right.

I dont understand why people are upset, they knew what type of show it was but they're complaining about it...Its funny, because people always say they want something that's different, and now people are upset that the bad guys are winning...:hmm:

Fuck those small-minded idiots who can't process anything beyond the norm for trash TV! They want to watch the same old dumbed down, cliched ass TV that's been forced down our throats for years. GoT is a breath of fresh air and just what TV needed to start making these fucking Hollywood writers start thinking outside the box! I'm sick of watching predictable ass movies and TV shows. Game ON!!!!

I understand perfectly well why she was desperate enough to do it but that wasn't her call to make to betroth her son the king to another w/o his consent...it obviously didn't end well...twice during his ordeal he listened to her...initially agreeing to marry Frey's daughter + going to him a second time w/ his tail between his legs to ask for his help again...her decision making abilities ain't shit...spoiler alert coming up in white for the uninformed...it pisses me off that she's the one who gets resurrected

Dude WHAT THE FUCK??!!??!

Apparently killing folks at Dinner after given them safe haven is some foul shit. Thank to the folks for posting that info....Curious is their any consequence for breaking that long standing tradition?

Westerosi society (7 Kingdoms) takes oaths seriously, as people are quick to bring up with Robb's broken marriage contract. However there are two sacred vows that trump all of the others and are respected by Westeros as well as several counter-Westerosi cultures (wildlings/ some nations in Essos, where Dany is currently).

1) No Kinslaying (do not kill people you are related to by blood)

2) Guest Right (If you allow someone into your house and they eat from your table, neither of y'all are allowed to harm each other while they are visiting)

All the people in this world that follow these two vows believe that you and your family are supernaturally cursed for all time, if you break them.

man we're never gonna see selmy fight:angry:

Well, #1 has been out the window for a while now. Even Robb broke that rule with The Karstarks.

Well, #1 has been out the window for a while now. Even Robb broke that rule with The Karstarks.

Which is another reason why he had to die. Karstark even told him he would be a kinslayer if he killed him. It's debatable how closely related they are though, their lines split hundreds of years ago.

Well, #1 has been out the window for a while now. Even Robb broke that rule with The Karstarks.

The Karstarks are super distant relatives to the Starks. Plus Richard was treasonous and the penalty for that is losing your head. So the kinslaying doesn't apply in this instant.

People do break #1 more often than #2, though rarely and reluctantly. But to your point, Robb did kill what essentially amounts to a third cousin, hence Rickard's last words. "Kill me and be cursed boy, you're no king of mine."
