Game Of Thrones: The Sopranos with swords or Dynasty in chainmail?

thats too fuckin long

i watched 2 seasons in less than a week and i got used to tits, whores, wildling tits(that was nice, i guess)

my gal said thats why you watch it, i said you gotdamn right.

she walked off sayin fuck those cracka bitches...

i didnt get no ass that night.:hmm:
Should have gotten it from somewhere else lol

So y'all just gonna act like you didn't see that big bitch swinging that broadsword with ONE HAND at the end of the fight!
Brienne is nice, but she ain't in King-slayer's class - when Jaime is healthy, other than dead Ned Stark, there are only 2 fighters as deadly as he was - Baristan, and a character that hasn't been introduced on the show yet, and maybe the Mountain Clegane.

Truth be told if that character wasn't shackled, it would have been a different type of fight

Grandmother Tyrell is off the chain. "Well, once the cow's been milked there's no squirting the cream back up her udders so here we are to see things through."

I love old people. Those with their wits still about them are just full of wisdom, wit, and just enough smart ass. I love it.

yeah the queen of thorns is one of my fav characters in the show and the book. theres more from her just wait :lol::lol::lol::lol:.

Jamie's overconfidence is his weakness though. Brienne has a much stronger work ethic than him. Talent always loses to hard work when talent doesn't work hard.

The mountain would destroy her IMO. A huge man wins vs a huge girl but Brienne is the Kingslayer's size and he doesn't respect her ability

Ned didn't seem that good vs Jamie...he looked like he was struggling.

Jaime worked at his craft though. Fighting is the only thing he is good at and he knows it. His father wants him to be more than what he is but he simply isn't built that way.

Ned did better than most. You could tell Jaime got a thrill out of fighting because he offered some semblance of a challenge. He was pissed as shit when one of his men stepped in and put a spear in Ned's leg.

Jaime wasn't really over confident, but he was being playful because at this point it has been 2 years or more since he last fought - fighting is the only thing he believes that he is truly good at - and in this case he didn't anticipate reduced endurance and his own lack of exercise. Either way he had fun.

Are they goingto stray from the books? I ask that because in the books Sam was able to send the ravens and on the show he doesn't

They are not going to follow the books word for word. There will be small alterations, nothing major IMO like Andrea dying in The Walking Dead.

you gone act like the kingslayer wasn't weak and tired?

her skills were impressive she's a great fighter and a beast of a woman.

She beat Jamies ass....so much that both of them know that she beat Jamies ass.....

That was pure skill. He was faking weakness. Deception is a primary part of the art of war. He was quick cutting the rope.

She was afraid until she caught the scent of his pure overconfidence and his attack pattern. Then she just destroyed his ass.

But he'd been planning that shit all day. There is a reason he wanted to make noise on a bridge. Just didn't work his way.

I beg to differ. I believe his overconfidence and the fact that he knew that she couldn't kill him was working for him. I saw at least 2 times when he could have ended her but he let it go. As someone said, "Deception is part of the art of war," so her beating him when he was not truly trying to win but merely feeling her out will work in his favor next time they fight.

his only out was that his hands were chained so he couldn t swing on her with a free hand.....

but either way....Jamie knows better than to try her again.....

Ned Stark said to Jamie, "I don't fight in tournaments because I don't want a man to see what I have when I fight him for real." He hadn't seen her fight, so he needed for this battle to happen to spot her weakness and I believe he did. Next time they fight even with his hands chained he wins. Handily.

What about Xho getting locked in his vault in the show, but there is no vault in the books, hell he wasn't even a member of the 13. And the undiying weren't after her dragons in the book

GRRM has given the two directors of Game of Thrones the greenlight to make small changes to the story for television. GRRM wrote for TV for 25 years and knew his novels could never work for TV without some changes. The directors were asked when they first met GRRM who is Jon Snow's mother...if they answered correctly they would be allowed to make the books into a television series. The changes are minor to the main story arch and there have been several scenes that allude to the final act that aren't in the books. Only GRRM and the directors know how the entire story ends. I follow GRRM's blog
