Aegon Targaryen is still alive. He also has a stronger claim to the Iron Throne than about anybody plus Tyrion is schooling him on how the game is played (though it still is possible Tyrion could be a Targaryen as well- esp. since they may have a history of midgets in their family i.e 'Duncan the Small******').

The mad king appointing Jamie to kingsguard so Tywin wouldn't have an heir, Cersei's contempt for him, and how his wife died during his birth all lend some doubt to Tyrions legitimacy.
The mad king was paranoid and didn't like the assumption that Tywin ruled the 7 kingdoms as hand...so tainting his house and bloodline would seem reasonable

ninja what the fuck book you are reading? as of the current moment (no speculation) there are two known targaryens, dany and young griff a.k.a ageon who is the rightful heir to the iron throne. and the tittle of the book have nothing to do with dany and jon. and nobody know the reasons for the others invasion. most likely bran with be the one to head deeper into the north to see what they are about. rumors on the net states that the other or the white walkers have a unique tribe. either way nobody except martin and the producers know what goes down in the land of always winter is about. the next book in the series will touch on the others/whitewalkers.
