Game Of Thrones: The Sopranos with swords or Dynasty in chainmail?

POSSIBLE SPOILERS

Im almost done with book 2 (once i watched the show I couldn't wait a week lol) and I must say the second book to me is all anticipation of events to come. Anyone else agree, does the third book get better? Its still enjoyable but its all about the wolves and dreams and the winter coming.

And to those hating on Sansa remember she was raised a princes by her mom and justs lives the life. She is doing what is expected of her. That being said I like Arya as a character better just because I like ninja and stealth stuff

No one talking about the Khaleesi?

Am I the only male alive that finds that bitch annoying tossing around her power as the Khals bitch. She aint done shit but throw it back and get knocked up. Bitch aint even a native, yet fixes her face to give orders.:smh: To be honest the two people I want to die, I know wont based on the story. The little prince is "evil" and most likely wont die til much later. And that Khaleesi is "good" and more that likely wont die period. I could be wrong. But Ill find out soon after this seasons over. Wifey has the first 4 books, and Im starting as soon as this season is over. Fuck that bitch.

I guess I'm a lil old-fashioned...I like Sansa a bit more than Arya...Sansa is a true lady  na but seriously I think she gets a bad rap for being raised to be a "proper" young lady (in the book the Hound chews her out real good during one scene for being so polite/well-mannered)...Arya cool but a lil annoying/immature which is expected given her age...I honestly didn't get the sense that she was embarrassed to be a Stark she just seems to be embarrassed of only Arya

‎"You think my life is such a precious thing to me, that I would trade my honor for a few more years...of what?" - Ned Stark

I don't think he traded his honor for his life, but I think he compromised it for his daughters. Like the blind Targaryen at the Wall told John Snow "Love is the death of duty" and it proved to be a fatal flaw for Ned. Women and children have and will always be the achilles heel of strong men...

I also believe Lady Stark is the main catalyst for all of this, the Little Finger character has never gotten over her or her sister, and he seems to be the real puppetmaster of events

This episode was like watching Empire Strikes Back, all your favorites were done in

Those were some TRUE words.

You gotta remember her brother was a total ass towards her and forced her to married Drogo so he can get his throne back...As you saw in the show she had no choice but to grow a backbone since she's surrounded by Dothraki's.If she show any time of weakness everyone would look at Drogo why Dany is weak and it would of looked very bad for him......imo

But I dont think she's tossing her weight around though,it more of she know raping women is wrong and the Dothraki's isnt used to a woman stand up to them like that.

Me personally,I dont have no problem with Sansa but my biggest problem with her is when she didnt stick up for Arya..She was too worried about marrying Joffrey she basically lied about the whole situation....Even Robert commented on it an episode later saying the only reason why he's king is because he didnt want Joffrey to be king.

In the book her progression is more natural...in the show it is very fast so ya she come across as an outta place bitch on the show...but I really like her character...if you've been watching the show you should be able to make a strong prediction as to what this chic will be about...the 1st clue went over my head in the 1st ep...and then we saw another example of it again...and finally the chic said as much herself when she realized something...I like her and Jon Snow the best...to me they were stuck w/ shitty deals from the outset but gain strength from a perceivably weak position

Daeynaris however you spell it, the Khaleesi that shit had me hyped. I'm not feeling her showing after 2 episodes ago she wasn't but ok....anyway.

That just shows that time is passing. I mean these mofos are riding from kingdom to kingdom on horseback. That shit would take a while.

I watching this ep again...I've watched each ep again a day or two after...never done that for a series...the beginning be getting me amped w/ the music and the rising of the kingdoms and shit

I did.

But by whatever, I don't think he thought about giving up his hand in marriage to a Frey girl. Didn't you see the hesitation in his eyes when Catylen asked him if it was fine?Lord Frey expects him to be about his word; go against it, and you know what could happen...

He couldn't of said no to Catylen and Frey's deal, because turning down such an arrangement would of completely destroyed his chances of crossing the bridge.

He should have went in there in the first place to bargain with Lord Frey; he shouldn't of sent in his mother.

I think that's highly speculative. Frey is bannerman to the Tullys who are Catylen's people. He doesnt owe anything to the Starks. Rob hesitates because at the end of the day he's a 18 y/o Lord who "previously" expected to have his pick of brides. I think that's understandable, but he accepts it. I think if he goes in there making demands and what not he ends up dead or in an all out battle with the Freys

I wouldnt say everything her fault but she did contribute it even though she didnt know it would come out this way...But I will say this Catelyn was the one who got very reckless when she kidnapped Tyrion, like me and few people said a couple of weeks ago she should allowed Ned to talked to Robert about the situation....:smh::smh::smh::smh:

no, it was her fault, the lannister's marching on the north is catelyn's fault. Sansa basically dimed her father out and let Cersei know her father was making his move so cersei could prepare, that and ned trusting littlefinger. Can't wait for that dude to die.

Dont know how it is on the show, but they state that its common knowledge frey's arent pretty and all look like weasles, that probably why he hesitated.

nah, probably wouldve told robb no just to hate on his youth. thats just how frey came across to me, an old ass hater.

For all the disgusted types on the board and the rest of the internet, crying over Neds death, I want you sons of bitches to pick up a book sometime. Audiobook and ebook Game of thrones is available for free right here on BGOL. In the meantime I suppose there will be more shock outrage next week.

there were a couple of shortcuts taken this week. Tryrion killed a couple of men in that battle, not just blacked out as he did on TV, also Grey Wind fucking wrecked shop at the battle of the Whispering wood, that should habe been shown on TV

We don't like Sansa because when it came to it she bitched up and didn't stand up for her BLOOD. To us that's ......... You almost don't get no lower to us than to pull something like that.

LOL That nigga just wakes up sleep and Bronn is just looking down on that nigga. you dont even see how he got knocked out.

Catelyn fucked up by promising her son's hand to one of Lord Frey's daughters. (Watch what happens...)

She didn't stop to consider how Robb or how Arya would feel?
Robb should of went in their to litigate with the Bridgemaster.

She is impulsive.

Good eye. That move will come back to bite them in the ass in a big fucking way.

Does anyone else dislike Tyrion's new whore...bitch is pretty forward/mouthy for a whore...and dude opened his heart out to her and the sheisty nigga...I kinda don't like Tyrion character as much anymore...dude reminds me of one of those cats that think he's much smarter than he actually is...this is depicted pretty well in the book too
