Game Of Thrones: The Sopranos with swords or Dynasty in chainmail?

Cersei was told from a child that her family would die.
Everything she did was to try and protect her family.
Rewatch the whole season.

She would have to do some seriously selfless shit for her to ever be even partially rehabilitated for me though. Like if Tyrion was about to get killed and she all the sudden tries to save her little brother. That would do it... but she'd never do that.

They never went into it... Not even sure how many actual Boltons there are.... assuming that they have people that fight with them and serve Roose (do the lesser houses have bannermen?)... I would think though that they would have killed any actual Boltons they could find because that whole family was/is psycho.
Another question is after the dogs killed Ramsey, did they put them down?

Did the Boltons get wiped out or is there a few left?

Cersei killed everybody. She drove her own son and last child to suicide. There is no path to redemption.
That was a brilliant move by cersei, unfortunately Marjory was there but the Sparrows had to be stopped. Btw Tommon killed himself and that doesn't fall on Cersei, she was a good mother and did what she was suppose to do, but Robert was a shitty father who neglected his kids, the lanister kids would have been better off if he had chosen to be a father to them.

I don't get all the Cersei hate, she was a mother and acted accordingly, Robert is the reason for everything that went wrong.

Tommen killed himself, because his wife died, which was caused by his mother. Something,he knew was caused the citadel to engulfed in wildfire.Did you not hear Cercei call him a coward last week?

Also,Cersei is the reason, why Joffery was the way he was because she allowed him to do whatever he wanted to people.Hell, she went as far to threatened to kill Robert for trying to discipline him.

Don't let me get started, how her own father told her she's smart as she think, but of course her ego didn't allowed her to listen.

Robert may been a shitty father, but Cersei was far being a good mother.

Anyone gonna blame Tywin for making Cercei a shitty mother?

Also if as a child you were told that all your children would die before you did...Would that not fuck you up a bit?

cercei never cared for marjory. I'm anxious to see what Marjory's grandmother says/does when she shows up again.

One aspect of Cercei that is really stressed in the book is, She considers herself just as capable as any man... Especially her brothers!

Think about it this is a world where the best a girl /woman can hope for is to be married off to a good /powerful family.

Cercei wanted to prove her worth beyond that to her father.

Alas like tywin told her she is not as smart as she thinks she is.

Another aspect of her persona in the book is all of the rejections and defeats she suffers.

It starts with the Maggie the frog prophecy and goes down from there. She asked when will she marry the prince and is told she will not, but will marry the king.

She was thinking that it would be rhagar but that hope was dashed when the mad king told tywin 'one does not marry his heir off to his servants daughter!'

:frozen:

Then after Robert's rebellion when she weds the king and its time to get busy... This drunk fool crawls on top of her calling her lyanna.

Now both men of power and means that she craved chose or wanted lyanna over her!

She always has Jamie but even that is unfullfilling because he chose the kings guard over her and will not come out and profess his love for her.

So in the end all she has is this stupid Game that is being played. And even though she is the queen, she is not the most powerful piece on the board, just the most reckless.

bastards can be challenged. bran can make a good case if he wanted.

Aren't kings supposed to lead their armies in battle/siege. If he was to go after the throne, he can't be getting piggy back rides onto the battlefield. Also nobody knows if Brans dick still works (no homo). But if he can't have kids, why make him king?

Nah fam.

Cersei is playing the game of thrones where you either win or you die. Its all about power.

She had Robert killed remember?

Yea I think the Boltons are gone since Ramsey fed the baby to the dogs. And could Bran challenge Jon when Jon is truly a Stark? I would think that he would never want to since he saw it with his own eyes.

She had Robert killed remember?
and her ineptitude allowed Joffrey to kill Ned
which set off both Baratheon brothers to rebel and Rob to secede the North
she made the situation worse at every turn during food shortages, virus outbreaks etc
If Tyrion didn't show up she and Joffrey would have been killed - Tyrion saved them at least 2x in Kings Landing
He also kept the Dornish from siding with the Baratheons
She never had a clue of danger from Varys or Littlefinger never followed up on Pycell and Slynt betraying her
She is the book's best checkers player thats thinks she can play chess by not listening to a grand master like Tywin
and doing the opposite of an adept like Tyrion

Err. Yeah. She had Robert killed to protect her family. Her family meaning her children.
She tried with all her might to stop the prophecy but the more she tries to stop it the more it is cemented.
She thinks Tyrion is the valancar. But he can't be. It is too easy for it o be Tyrion.

I never liked that whole prophecy storyline, it's like Cersei is the only person in Westeros history to have her fortune told that is turning out to be 100% accurate. The red priestess should find the fortune teller and take notes

This one is the greatest....

She's actually the character I am most intrigued with.

Also, how come we have NEVER seen Casterly Rock? Will we ever see it? Hope so.
