Game Of Thrones: The Sopranos with swords or Dynasty in chainmail?

I always enjoy a good villain, but damn Sansa is so naive and filled with fairy tales (like most women) ...it's kinda sad seeing her learn the real world

No one is better than Joffery, his wedding was an all star performance
Ever since she sided with Joffrey over Arya and got her direwolf killed I have been anti Sansa.

I believe she is the same actress from last season who killed one if the unsullied and if Im correct there is a nude scene and pics of her.

The Umbers ain't have to do Shaggy Dog like that. So that only leaves Ghost (who hopefully rolled out with Jon even though they didn't show that) and Nymeria who hasn't been seen since Arya set her free in season one.
Maybe Jon and Ghost will cross paths with her.

whatever happened to bran's direwolf summer

Being lord commander is a position.

He was given the sword as a gift from

The person who owned it! It was

attached to the position.

The valaryan sword belonged to House Mormont. Lord Commander Mormont gave it to Jon for saving his life during the wight attack. He even changed the hilt from a bear to a direwolf.

If Jorah wasn't banished for selling slaves he'd be in possession of his family sword

I could watch the full version of this sword fight for an hour

That dude is legit

You know in all the movies somebody trains with the circle of ppl with predetermined ass moves, like it's supposed to sharpen your skills and shit?
You be like yea whatever why do that shit you never gonna need it

This dude shut me all the way up
If everybody got weapons and a shield and one guy is like no thanks I'll use another sword?
Bacdafucup

Shit was unrealistic to me. How the hell can one guy defeat four other warriors with swords? Shit was too much like one of those old kung-fu movies.

Buddy was in rare form for the wedding...when he took that sword to the book Tyrion gave him i was DYING laughing

Nah. He was fucking Ill bro.

He was fluid as fuck and just knew what he was doing cutting them down 1 by 1 he didn't wipe them out he wounded and struck then stabbed. That's how he got killed he wounded someone who got back up. He would've finished them off after the fact but his main thing was getting them down...like it would be in real life

Oh and complete off topic, but damn do the Stark have the wackest armor of any House. It doesn't look good, it doesn't look like it offers much protection, and it doesn't even have a bad ass direwolf logo on it.

:dunno:

Starks got a decent set of Armor, in my opinion.
It's appropriate for the weather conditions they live in.
  • They are widely known for their Long Black Cloaks (like the Night's Watch)…
  • That have 2 prominent Leather Straps…. and they always have a Wolf Pelt over the Shoulders.
  • With either full-metal (or chainmail) covering their arms & leather-studded (metal) plates covering their body.
  • The average Stark soldier wears a brown or dark blue coat with green or grey sleeves protected by chainmail underneath, grey or brown leather boots, a grey steel or iron helmet and a grey shield emblazoned with the Stark Direwolf, presumably made of steel or iron.
  • But in the Wintery Northern Lands, it wouldn't make sense for them to wear *full-metal plate armor* (like the Lannisters) because....
    1. Steel is not a good 'insulator'. :smh:
    2. When wearing full plate armor you generate a lot of heat... so you are warm even if you have little clothing under the armor, but you will also get very sweaty & tired... real quick.... with all the extra weight.
    3. And if it is very cold outside... after your clothes get damp... you will likely freeze very quickly if you don't keep moving around.
    4. So that means a Stark Soldier wearing *full-metal plate armor* would probably suffer from hypothermia much faster than the soldiers who only wear leather, or chainmail. :smh:

And because Howland Reed and Ned Stark are dirty as fuck!!! They didn't fight with honor!

that's the way the story was written, and they worked hard to bring it to life- pay attention to how he practiced crowd control and worked on getting them all in front of him quickly and kept them there, no wasted movement on his part, he had at least 3 kills that were based on leverage after he parried bumped pulled or pushed

Did anyone else think that the end of Bran's flashback sounded like a woman screaming while giving birth? Is that enough to confirm the 'Jon of Houses Targaryen and Stark' fan theory?
And it looked like
Eddard heard Bran calling him. Maybe having the power to influence the past is the ultimate power that the three eyed raven is trying to teach Bran.

Good point also if he heard him call out dad could this have laid the initial idea for him to say Jon was his after he found him?

Like once he enters the tower and sees lyanna with the babe and 'promises her' maybe he thinks back to having just heard a voice call out dad and takes that as the plan on hiding Jon's parentage

if that Ned was in Kings Landing - this would be a very different story
Actually that Ned was in Kings Landing.

He was beaten. And showed that he was willing to die instead of 'fighting dirty'.

It was Howland Reed who said 'fuck this fair fight shit' and got him from behind.... Then Lyanna's scream made Ned realize why he was there in the first place... So he finished him off.

(He didn't bring 5 of his homeboys to win an 'honorable, fair fight' :smh: He came to rescue his sister  By any means possible )

He wanted to overpower Sir Arthur Dayne...
The very same way he wanted to overpower Joffrey's Kingsguard by enlisting the Gold Cloaks thru Littlefinger.

If it wasn't for Howland Reed..... Ned woulda got his head chopped off a lot sooner, imo.

Just saying. :D

You see this is why I love this show. Even though I wouldn't have thought of those points, every one of them is completely valid.
It wouldn't even surprise me to hear that they took stuff like that into account while designing the costumes.

So, any thoughts on Benjen Stark? Now that Jon has left the watch and Bran's abilities are ramping up, do you think Benjen will reappear? Is he the White Walker King?

Yeah. It's obvious why Olly flipped out..he hated the Wildlings and he has just cause
True.... But the Wildlings are not worse than the White Walkers. :smh: Not even close.
So Olly needed to bury his hatred (and swallow some humble pie)... for the 'greater good'.

Because it won't matter WHO hates the Wildlings... whenever the Night's King shows up at The Wall.

That 'Blind Hatred of Wildlings'... is gonna disappear REAL QUICK... in whoever is still left at Castle Black when them Walkers roll up.

They gonna WISH all them Giants & Wooly Mammoths was their 'wingmen'.... Wait for it. :D
