Naw,it was the ceremony of getting rid of the Old god and celebrating the god Melisandre worshipped....

Not asking any spoilers, but does he show up again in the books? Dude looks scary as hell! I read his story on another site. It goes more in depth on how he scarred his brother, and how he rose to his position.

Oh this whole BOOK is awesome as hell and it's 1 of the reasons why i couldn't wait for it to come back on. I just KNOW if they do this book(season) right this will just outpace every other show out there. I love the characterization, everyone is dead on and perfect to me. Melisandre is perfect but she wasn't a fave of mine. Stanis is awesome. It's like i can't find anything wrong with this at all period.

My understanding is that the European or Australian stream of the show comes out several days before the US one. So if you choose you can be ahead all season.

But in all seriousness stay away from wiki if you have not already read the book or do not want to ruin the experience.
I made that mistake last season. But now that I've read the 1st 3 books it doesn't matter.
