If being light skinned makes him happy, then why does it bother you?
I never liked Kartel, but he has every right to do things which makes him happy long as he does not hurt other people.
Nobody ever says fuck a fat person for losing weight, or fuck a short person for wearing timbs...so why the hate for the man doing something to make himself feel better about himself?

I understand that the West Indian culture (Jamaican in particular) looks down upon such things as skin bleaching and homosexuality (Buggering Laws) and to each his own. I feel like we as Americans are so quick to place/force our own judgmental & societal values on other cultures...
but I find it ironic how many Jamaicans frown upon skin bleaching yet it's such a big phenomenon down there.
And as far as calling it "faggotry" I find that funny considering what you see when you go to a Dancehall party or watch a dancehall video...the way dudes carry themselves and the way they dress is more suspect than a single case of skin bleaching.
White folks do the reverse all the time (tanning). Does it make it "right"? Who's to say what's "right"?

Kartel is influential of the MINDSET of the youths. You can't pretend that what he does is his business and has no bearing. Just think about it. Its not the end of the world but it is a step in the wrong direction.
