how many people in the world know about the equator? millions.
think of the potential you have and the amount of hits you can have.
equator.com has potential to have six figure traffic a month.

compare that name to theworldequator.com (too long)
anything with like 7 letters and less, that is automatically recognized by the world, that is a .com, that people can randomly type in the browser to get info about, or do a search on google.......anything like that is easy 5-6 figure sale. just off the name alone.

and equator is generic enough you can use it for anything. whehter its meteoroligy or cars or adult site.

People LOVE visual stuff, and as long as your site is eye candy, and like d town said, you hook it up with some feeds so you don't have to update it constantly, you're good as good. So what are you other fellas doing for marketing? I'm not gonna lie, so far my only marketing is here, and I actually get a few strays coming to the site. I'm building content for another site, just got Wordpress installed and got a package that installed apache, php and mysql on our server. So I'll have blogs up, and also a forum or two (will it run faster than BGOL?? :lol: ). But I'm going to follow the information as far as how to get traffic, and post to sites that have info related to my domain name.

I dunno about ya'll, but I want a new car for Christmas!!
