It's cool, but a potential liability with Google ads on a site that you can get free music from. Google -- the king of search and saved searches, archiving info, etc. You don't want to make them angry, quick way to get banned or worse. I would go with one of the lesser known companies like Exoclick if you wanna keep that format.

A New Advertisement Widget Tool For Blogger (Free Of Course)

What's up y'all. Most of the bloggers and webmasters here have heard of Stumble Upon and Diggs. These social bookmarking sites can bring you a little more traffic and help get articles from your blog more exposure. I personally don't care too much for either because I just don't frequent the sites. I don't personally go there to read articles and find sites. I did find a new way of plugging your site into other with direct advertisements. It's called BlogRush. It's a way to display your articles on others website inside of a free widget to be placed where ever you want on your blog page. I found one I want to use thats almost perfect except for one color I'd like to change.

you can definately change anything by going into the css file.

Payperpost is good if you got PR for your blog. To get good PR quickly, either buy an "older" domain name (registered a while back) or submit the fuck out of your blog to blog directories and link directories.

PPP looks at PR and also other factors like ALEXA score.

Not to much on it so far but I used to have a live show that I'm bringing back and I put out a mix about once a month, so I just threw all the mixes on it.

I hope I can get some feedback on it

You need to find a way to post the music on your site from an outside host. Your music is playing on a page that is full of advertisements that you don't benefit from. If the music was on your page and and you had adsense, you would make the money. Also you might want to do more than one mix a month. You want your visiters to come back as much as possible.
 
One more thing, like Grey said, you got mad room for adsense, you can make the ads jet black and place them on the right side. They will blend pefectly. Google Adsense banned the fuck outta me. Anyone know anything better?!? Ive tried Chikta and earned like 4 cents a day. Kontera sucks balls also. Holla!

4) Whenever they load their startpage, Alexa counts 1 visit to those pages.

5) You get enough people doing this shit, you'll have tons of Alexa visits and your Alexa ranking goes up

Redd, this trick is a little old. My question is they don't monitor impressions like google does? I get credit for having my sites open with google, but your ranking doesn't change because its not impression based, but Alexa is? They are that simple?

Yeah, they count visits. The trick works best if your IP is not fixed but dynamic. I've seen mofos flip SHIT SITES and SHIT DOMAINS by pimping Alexa. They got rid of they shit at higher prices than if they didn't do the alexa trick. Of course, the PR also helps.

Most of the stuff in this thread, I kind of learned by trial and error over the past few years. My blog, www.listentoleon.net has been relatively successful. It won the Black Weblog Award for comedy ones in 2006, was nominated for the same thing this year, and lead to me getting a column on King Magazine's site called Fine Shiterature

Despite the fact that I KNOW people dig what I'm doing, I'm just finally starting to cash in on it a little. I got my first Adsense check today, and next month should be better...Still, I would love to get any advice possible on ways that I can improve www.listentoleon.net and make more money from it.

I've had my blog for a while. I had it on blogspot but I change to wordpress. I laid off for a while but demand was heavy for it to come back. I relaunched last week. My ads pay heavy. I just need to regain my traffic and create a new marketing scheme.
 
I don't mean to seem pushy, but nobody gave me any feedback on www.listentoleon.net like I asked. I was hoping that a couple of you could give me a few suggestions on improvements that I could make to increase my ad revenue. Feel free to be as honest as possible.

My traffic is increasing each month, but I want to take things to that next level. Thanks in advance for any suggestions or advice.

I responded to you. Your blog is cool. The only things you could add in my opinion would be aesthetic changes. I think your main banner need an upgrade. It's a bit plain. Your right field area on your site has a lot of blank space. I would fill that with some widgets or text link ads. Since you write for a major magazine and do some radio, you should look into getting more sponsors. On those points alone, you could charge a ton for ad space. Way more than that little Google check you're receiving. P.S. Add me to your Blogroll bra, I'll do the same.....
