Did you use the form on the site? You not the dude leaving me those gay-ass messages are ya? :D

This one dude is really crazy. He think erething I say is about him. Remind me of that Janet Jackson song, You Probably Think This Song Is About You. I'll let ya'll figure out who he is, but I bet it won't take long!

Getting into the Top Technorati 10k is hard work, but the results are woth it. Been getting consistent numbers lately as far as traffic, and I'm almost 4 weeks into the daily push for the site.

Goose you seen the new look of the site yet? Take a look, it's cool as hell man!! And send me another message, I had one form on there but I found out it wasn't sending out the messages, so that might have been the problem. I fixed that now, so it's all good.

Blade, I'm new to this website game, what is the significance with signing up for a subscription? Is it really that easy to convert those signups into customers long term? I notice a lot of SEO's and Webmasters always offer a subscription to their site. PM me if you feel this is too sensitive a question.

Oh hey it's no cool I'm an open book about any of that stuff. The way I see it is there is enough to go around so I don't mind sharing. Basicly when it comes to signup forms it's all about building a good "list" as it's called in the interenet marketing game.

It's like anything else the more people you know the better your business will be when it's time to go marketing. For example if I have an business opp site and for every 20 visitors 2 sign up for my list. Pretty good conversion. So the next thing I do is complie a list and send the new opp to that list. Hopfully I can get three or four conversion from a list of about 50 to 100 people. If I'm smart I'll develop more of a relationship with that list via emails that don't involve trying to sell them something. It's more about being valuable resource to your customers.

That's the step a lot of webmasters miss they try to trick their customers into thinking they are offering good advise then send tons of email about bullshit. Ok I hope that wasn't too long of an answer. I'm no expert but that 's what I've seen in my dealings on the net.

Oh yeah by the way the workout site is nice. One of the other things you could ad are some text links with something like Kontera links in the site. Check them out at Kontera.com

where exactly on your site does google adsense draw its keywords from? because on my site its starting to have links that dont pertain to my site. i know i read something about that while back....i need to see if it was on this forum where that was discussed. if not, holla at me about that.

does it ever grab keywords from the header or is it all based on what i write within the content of my blog posts?

Exellent explaination and advice. Does Kontera pay well? I find those pop ups kinda annoying, but if the conpensation is worth it, I'm on it!

Kontera sucks so bad, at least for me anyway. You have to have a network of sites doing like 142,512,326 impressions to make any real money. I think Zac Johnson had a post on how much he made with them, but you have to see how many sites he has though to achieve that.

I thought they lowered the minumum views so more people could join, but I still personally find the popups annoying...............

Well Kontera is ok they don't suck so bad for me. So far the earnings have been about $12.98 per 1000 clicks.

Here are the stats since I've signed up with them.

Impressions Clicks Click thru Rate Revenue ECPM(
Total/Avg 227 7 3.08% $1.25 $5.52

So from seven clicks I've made just over a buck which is not too bad. The more traffic the better but the ads can be a little much. I've actually removed them from one of my sites as the members started bitching about too many ads.

ADSENSE IN WORDPRESS:

1) You can just update your theme by placing it in the spot you want...go to Theme Editor and pick sidebar.php...place the adsense code before the last /div (usually...this is just what I've found)

2) Place it in a post:
div style="margin: 4px; float: right;"
##ADSENSE CODE HERE##
/div

...you can also change that float to left or right.

I would really focus on putting the ads in your posts because if someone picks up the RSS feed it is there.
