Former tennis star JAMES BLAKE slammed to ground and handcuffed by NYPD

 Uhhhmmm... Close enough

I Dont care if he looked like a spitting image of James, no way a plain clothes cop with no badge and no id should have touched him; Dude wasnt running or resisting; Hell he didnt even know what was going on; Cops are out of control and thats because the mayors, police chiefs, AGs, Grand Juries allow them to be; If they would start charging these cops and convicting these cops regularly all this shit would stop immediately!!!!!

White supremacy strikes again. This fool thinks its not about race. HA. Just wait till his white wife takes half. Then, they got Sasha Thesalonia(sp?). Damn, even light skin brothers catching hell. They at least had it better during slavery and Jim Crow.

Crooked cops give as much of a shit about his "light skin" as him standing there non-threatening just before being violently tackled for a NON-violent crime they suspected him of committing.

True. But we all know this is how NYPD are. Especially plain clothes. ex: Sean Bell, Amadou Diallo.

They could at least surrounded him first, let him know who they are and asked to see his id.

The NYPD Sting That Wrongly Arrested James Blake Seems Like A Huge Mess

NYPD Commissioner Bill Bratton has personally apologized to James Blake after an officer tackled and roughed up the former tennis pro outside his Manhattan hotel Wednesday, but more details are leaking about the identity theft sting that nabbed the wrong black guy, and it looks like a clusterfuck.

The officer who took down Blake has reportedly been placed on desk duty, according to the New York Times. Per the New York Daily News, the cop’s name is James Frascatore.

He never told his bosses about the wrong arrest, and actually has a history of allegations of police misconduct from 2012 and 2013. WNYC News published a story in December of 2014 detailing two complaints accusing Frascatore of abusing his power:
In 2012, he pulled over Leroy Cline for allegedly driving with a busted taillight. Frascatore asked for Cline’s ID.

“I rolled my window down,” Cline said in an interview with WNYC. “He said, ‘License and registration.’ I said ‘Officer, what am I being pulled over for?’ He completely ignored me and said ‘License, registration.’ I said, ‘Officer what am I being pulled over for?’”

Cline is accused of attacking the 6-foot-three, 220-pound officer and biting Frascatore’s fist. Cline, of course, has a different story.

“That’s when he opened my car door and gave me three straight shots to my mouth,” he said.

What about the actual suspect? Bratton admitted that the man in question looks like Blake’s “twin brother,” but the NYPD wouldn’t show the photo it used to make that comparison. TMZ, however, claimed it acquired the photo, and there’s a similarity:

<svg class="svg-icon svg-zoom-in"><use xlink:href="http://deadspin.com/the-nypd-sting-that-wrongly-arrested-james-blake-seems-1729924319?hipra_discussion_redesign=off&utm_expid=66866090-52.r5txldOmRkqnbJxnyozIeA.1&utm_referrer=http%3A%2F%2Fdeadspin.com%2F%3Fhipra_discussion_redesign%3Doff#iconset-zoom-in"></use></svg>

This would be somewhat understandable, providing that Blake’s twin brother was actually the suspect. He wasn’t:
Mr. Bratton said the team of six undercover detectives involved in detaining Mr. Blake — all of whom were white — failed to report the incident, a breach of department practices.

The detectives who approached Mr. Blake were relying in part on an Instagram photo of someone believed to be involved in a credit card fraud ring that Mr. Bratton said looked like “the twin brother” of the former tennis star. That person turned out to have nothing to do with the scheme, police officials said, and they refused to make the photo public.

Blake has been adamant the whole time that he doesn’t think the police were racist, only excessively aggressive. It appears they were also really bad at this sting.

The police reportedly have video of the arrest, but won’t release it.

The pig who assaulted Blake looks like a textbook white supremacist

http://nypost.com/2015/09/11/cop-accused-of-body-slamming-james-blake-needed-to-go-a-long-time-ago/

Cop accused of body-slamming James Blake ‘needed to go a long time ago’

The cop accused of body-slamming former tennis star James Blake during a mistaken arrest has a checkered past that includes five civilian complaints in just seven months and two excessive-force lawsuits.

Officer James Frascatore, 38, joined the NYPD four years ago and was on track to become a detective despite his short but spotty record on the job, police sources said Thursday.

One lawsuit claims the grand-larceny cop was among several who “sadistically and maliciously” beat Warren Diggs outside his Queens home in January 2013.

Diggs, 39, told The Post that Frascatore was the first cop to punch him. He said he wasn’t surprised to hear of the Blake incident.

“This guy needed to go a long time ago . . . He likes putting his hands on people,” Diggs said.

“Hopefully, [Blake’s] in a better position to do something about it so that he won’t be able to get away with it anymore.”

Meanwhile, a photo emerged showing Blake, 35, once the No. 4 player in the world, is nearly a dead ringer for the man cops thought they were hunting at the Grand Hyatt hotel in Midtown as a credit-card scammer on Wednesday.

The Instagram photo of the suspect was discovered and relayed to police by workers at the scammed online company, GoButler, which delivered 16 shipments of merchandise worth $18,000, cops said.

“If you look at the photograph of the suspect, it looks like the twin brother of Mr. Blake,” Police Commissioner Bill Bratton told CNN.

Later Thursday, Bratton said he personally apologized to Blake. Frascatore was stripped of his badge and gun pending a probe.

“Mr. Blake indicated he would be willing to meet with the Internal Affairs Bureau as our investigation continues,” Bratton said.

Police brass are also looking into the “failure” by Frascatore and five other cops at the scene to notify their bosses about Blake’s erroneous arrest, Bratton said.

Mayor de Blasio offered an apology to Blake during an interview with NY1. “This shouldn’t have happened, and he shouldn’t have been treated this way,” de Blasio said.

Blake, who is biracial, told “Good Morning America” that he didn’t think his arrest was a case of racial profiling — but was “use of excessive force.”

“I probably even wouldn’t be so indignant about it, if it wasn’t so obvious,” Blake said. “He picked me up and body-slammed me. He put me on the ground, told me to turn over and shut my mouth and put the cuffs on.”

The real suspects cops arrested at the hotel — British citizens James Short, 27, and Jarmaine Grey, 26, who resembles Blake — were ordered held on $50,000 bond or cash and forced to surrender their passports at their arraignment late Thursday in Manhattan Criminal Court. They’ve been charged with grand larceny, ID theft and criminal possession of stolen property.

Last year, WNYC radio revealed the five complaints filed against Frascatore with the Civilian Complaint Review Board — noting that it was more complaints than get lodged against 90 percent of cops during their entire careers.

One complaint was made by Stefon Luckey, who has a $5 million suit against Frascatore and several other cops, claiming he was beaten and pepper-sprayed after getting racially profiled outside a Queens deli in May 2013.

The CCRB dismissed Luckey’s complaint, but Luckey, who is black, maintains Frascatore punched him twice in the stomach and called him a “f- -king n- - - -r,” said his lawyer, Philip Hines.

Frascatore couldn’t be reached, and his wife declined to comment.

^^^^

Faggit is done, when the NYPD release an officer's Pic it's a wrap.. They looking to fling his ass way under the bus

If Blake is smart he will file a suit against NYPD/NYC and file a civil lawsuit against the cops personal.. Financial ruin is what they understand

And to make matters worse, he tried to cover it up. His bosses said that it wasn't in his incident report, and the first time they heard anything was when the media got the story.

Bratton said the incident "should not have happened" but insisted Blake wasn't detained because of race.

"I don't believe that race was a factor," Bratton said. "This rush to put a race tag on it, I'm sorry, that's not involved in this at all."

http://www.cnn.com/2015/09/10/us/tennis-james-blake-tackled-by-nypd/
And THIS is the reason James Blake so carefully chose his words to not claim racial profiling as his primary complaint - the excessive force was outrageous enough to stand alone no matter what his race was, and it was obvious that Bratton and the others would focus on and only want to talk about the race straw man.

Not that it would ever stop BGOL e-militants from automatically WTF shitting on "too Black but still not Black enough" Blake as a knee jerk 'just because' reflex. For the 'crime' of quietly standing on a crowded public sidewalk in the middle of the afternoon, minding his business while waiting for a car ride.

With race eliminated as a talking point, the bad guys now want to shift the goalposts by focusing attention on the 'twin' straw man, conveniently disregarding the reality that the 'other guy' was just as innocent as Blake - and even if he was a criminal, he still would not have deserved to be brutalized with excessive force like that either.

So cops are allowed to slam citizens over a 50,000 bond offense? The actual alleged criminal, I bet they were not slammed in the middle of the street.

Fuck apoligies, fire someone for once, and pay me. Blake is a bitch for all that its not about race shit.

By taking race out of it, he's forcing them to focus on a serious issue with the cops. These fuckers are out of control when it comes to excessive force. A friend of mine had a disagreement with a oil change spot. They did some work he didn't ask for, but they wanted him to pay anyway. He refused and they called the cops. He said once this redneck cop got the gist of what was going on, he went back to his car and put on a pair of black leather gloves, like he was preparing for a beatdown.

When your entire life revolves around creating a rep on BGOL (75,000 posts) it's understandable that you don't get out much. They were targeting a black male but a British white male turned up instead and claimed the shoes with that credit card. While he was being arrested without incident the couriers who delivered the shoes then pointed out Mr Blake. That's when your brethren went into action. :hmm:

My rep? Listen here cock sucka NYPD ain't my brethren secondly the NY news media failed to disclose it was indeed a white male they arrested let alone posting a pic of the guy they were looking for that looks like Blake

Next time stick to answering the question without all the side slick shit you fuckin clown.

The article is there for everyone to read but your so busy trying to distance yourself from your fellow pigs while trying to be BGOLS thug cop that I guess you missed out on the details once again huh?:lol:

I'm on an iPhone so I can't open the article, secondly how am I distancing myself from an obviously incompetent police department? Please explain yourself..

So now I'm a thug cop? Nah I just call clown niggas like you out who feel tough talkin shit behind that computer screen but won't dare say the shit u saying to a cops face. Niggas like you get hard ones talkin that one time shit on bgol..

Here it is I asked a simple question but like the Faggit nigga u are you took the opportunity to talk out the side of your mouth solely because of my profession

I bet you wouldn't talk that shit to this dude and he was a high ranking member of the NYPD, you don't know how I grew up and what I was doing before this shit.. Slow your fuckin role

this has nothing to do with e-militants tho. at the end of the day if they didnt use excessive force and arrested him ""nicely"" the reason they did it would still be because of the color of his skin. which is the real problem. shit i just read in this thread that the original guy was innocent too. i wont say this would never happen to a white man. but 9/10 it happens to us.

now i will say that if they eliminate excessive behaviour at least the suspect can live to tell the story guilty or innocent.

Am I the only one wondering how "they" so quickly got and published a non mugshot picture of the alleged "mistaken identity" suspect - even though he was never arrested and no one is even sure what his name his. Don't be surprised if we later find out "they" used Facebook recognition software to find some random picture of some random guy who kinda sorta looks like Blake to help muddy the waters so people would lose focus on the police brutality aspect of the situation.
:puzzled:
