Mantronix always mixed records like the rap was percussion or bongos. Vocals low as shit, and MC Tee was barely fucking audible
I didn't know Easy Mo Bee used to rap.
Definitely one of the most slept on producers. He produced a lot of bangers for Tupac, Biggie, Big Daddy Kane etc.

MOP was huge on NY. Guaranteed fight after playing a couple of their songs back to back on a club though. For the NY heads Homebase, Mars2112, and the Octagon were some of the clubs in the early 90's
