follow the creation of a new store in 30 days

Don

ever thought of owning one of those mini shopping centers? I am talking 4 1200sq spots .
any thoughts on this?

Did u want me to do it as a graphic or as advertising "copy". Where were u planning on running this ad? I ask so that I may properly design & target this ad copy towards the proper demo group. Also send me text when u get a chance in reguards.

this is something that's going to be created on advertising brochures.

hit a legal snag:

parmatown just called me and says there's a problem. radio shack sells boost mobile and virgin mobile (yeah i knew that but didn't think it mattered) and there is a kiosk owned by radio shack/sc kiosks that sells sprint and theyhave 1 boostmobile phone in their display. So now i need to wait to see if i can sell it.

let's see how this plays out.

^^^^hate to ask, but what kind of startup cost just for whats in that box....or better yet, to carry boost mobile

Apologies I thought I had responded to this. It doesn't take much to do setups selling phones like boost. Maybe six to eight thousand

so why wont they let you sell boost and virgin?

I'm thinking of something like this too! Preciate da schooling. How do u know a venture has success potential? Is it possible to see what stores are doing well in an area? In the research phase, but need resources(websites, local paper section or what?). I just mean in a storefront arena. How did u decide to do this specifically, was it just a need for it in a certain area? Any info is appreciated...

radio shack has an exclusive agreement with the mall to be the only ones to sell sprint, boost, virgin mobile products.

it's cool though i've been selling it out of my other store and the laptops and computers i've been selling on here in the market thread, and on craigslist.

so lets say for instance i had a free standing building in a small town. there is another person with a store next to his convenience store selling boost, accessories and probably virgin..... its about 2 miles from where i would be. What is the odds I would get approval to sell if they are that close? does that matter?

better yet, with boost and virgin what would i be looking at as far as introductory start up costs?

i had never seen this thread prior to today, but after having read it, there were a couple lies that stand out which should've set off red flags to people with prior operations experience.

namely the terms of the lease and the conditions of the rental at the mall.

:smh:

Mmmm. I'm somewhat new to the board and don't know the background of all the people in this thread but there seems to a lot of Schadenfreude going on. In risk stepping onto people's business & toes, I'm going to defend the OP.

There is nothing wrong with stepping up to the plate and swing and miss. At least Da Don laced up and step into the batter's box, which is more than most of us do.

In my neck of the woods (friends and family), I'm considered a very successful man. But between you and me, I've failed helleva more times than I succeed. You actually learn more by failing.

So Da Don, keep your head up and never mind all the naysayers, keep swinging for the fences, your drive and determination will get you there. You only need one home run to win the game.

... But ....

if other threads that suggest that you're some sort a fraud turns out to be true and I'm here white knighting you, I hope karma bitch-slaps you. :smh:
