Florida tourism update 7/16/2023 is not looking good at all.

Also tourism might be taking a hit but people are still moving here at record levels

This is false. Just read something about how fl has the largest gross drop in residents in the country. They are losing more people than California. Will look for the article later.

Edit - Here it is...

I’m not going to strongly argue with you about that because I told people if it wasn’t for metro Atlanta…….Georgia would be a bigger hell hole. Demographically and Politically, Georgia is turning into Illinois. To break that down even further, if you was to scoop out Chicagoland area Illinois would be freaking Indiana.
Easy i live in Indy
can you elaborate this point for me

My brother and his family are on their way down to Disney World now.

Good time to go

Haven’t tried Disney this summer but universal Studios and Busch Gardens I’m loving it lines are like a county fair

What's new?nothing has changed about Florida and nothing will change for the majority of them down there.Their stuck cause they want to be.

It's like the gossip line talking about the governors, cubans, crackas, and whatever else that happens down there and the people will talk about it but won't do a goddamn thing unless it's free,at a buffet, church or it's a job hiring over mininum wage.....lines for miles

Shit. When it's cold up here in Ohio in the winter, Florida is the shit. I can carry a pistol down there without worrying about a felony case. I don't fuck with any punks, so nothing is changing for me. Americans are so pussy right now.

Then there's this, canceled flight turns into 17 hr road trip....and dude turned back around and went to work, never even set foot at Disney......man FOH

But but the governor said something
So you shouldn’t go there

The home insurance issues are going to be what kills the state and seem to be the final straw. They get so caught up doing crazy stuff they don't even think about having a line.

Yep it to everybody getting touch for them to realize the fuck up they did last year in November.

Home insurance thing in Florida looks crazy as hell...we all knew climate change was gonna impact Florida really heavily but the pace of it is a lot quicker than I imagined

Gawd damn!!!!

First off, fuck Desantis. And for FL, the sins of the governor are the sins of the state.

Sidenote: went to Busch Gardens and man... It's fell the fuck off. Like 3 or 4 rollercoasters were closed, the Escape from Pompeii ride was just a dark ass tunnel (no flames anywhere), Dark Koaster sucked ass for that long ass wait...

But on the plus side, most lines were kinda short and the funnel cake is still on point.

Good time to go

that is a horribly written article in every sense.

but the insane entrance fees, recession and heatwave are the primary reason for the low attendance.

On the real side, I wonder if all those New Yorkers who moved to Florida in record numbers last year are still doing better with higher home insurance costs than staying in New York(plus way better weather). Hell, in California they paying $1 million to live in a fucking 1200 sqft box and pay state taxes.

Seems like Florida is to democrats what Chicago is to Republicans. :smh:
