Daredevil "Mad" Mike Hughes may have failed to deploy backup parachutes because he possibly blacked out.
He would have needed to get within inches of the dome to have enough time for the chutes to work even if he did deploy them. I eagerly await the next FE to take on his legacy and attempt to prove us wrong. I'm in tears laughing typing this.
