There was no suprise there either because of leaks and geek speculation. You could see it coming from a mile away whether they sooesred in trailer s or not. Social media has no chill when I comes to spoiling thing in tbese movies. It's all leaks and set photos. I miss the days of movie watching before the internet and social media when all we had were trailers and magazine articles. The internet sucks the fun out of everything.

All these super hero movies are just 2.5 hours of running gags and meandering fights badly stitched together. Guardians 3 was hours of them yelling at each other that was supposed to make you laugh.

Nope, it wasn't that bad. The only two movies in recent memory that Ive wanted refunds on were when i took my son to see Peter Rabbit (fell asleep like 15 minutes in) and that awful Xmen Apocalypse Movie (i felt sorry for Oscar Isaac)

I keep wondering seeing some of the reviews and seeing the Rotten Tomatoes score and the audience score of 66 and 84, did we watch the same goddamn movie?
Some reviews are calling it a hot mess, some are saying it's good some are saying it's all right I never seen so many inconsistent reviews. I really didn't like this movie and I didn't even stay for the Post credits, or see if it even had one.

I’d say for sure it’s the best DCEU film made. I liked Joker and Suicide Squad better but this is one of their better movies. Sucks it flopped for them.
Shit I loved it. But I’ve come to understand that DC films have to overcome a lot to get good press. Only flaw I’ll say about this film is some of the CG looks wild.
That’s what I hate the most. To me this was his redemption and he did his job. They had so much good stuff lined up. Hate we don’t get that Batman Beyond.

I have to agree. And yeah, Ezra(fuck it has a person) did good in this. I give credit when credit is due. I know some talked about there being 2 of them, but it worked for me.
Like I said in the other thread, and they came with a quality villian that was in the movie for more than a few minutes, it would have been better.
And yeah, this is a bad sign that this one flopped.
He was also good in Snyder cut. His performance in that movie was so much better than josstice league

Yeah Ezra did his thing I don’t think people realize how hard it is to play two people on screen with all those emotions and not tell it’s the same person. It honestly felt like two different people. DC just can’t win because this film if not for the bullshit surrounding it probably starts things off right for them.
And yeah the villain does suck here I don’t know even know what the point is of having Shannon here did he even have dialogue? Especially a actor like him?

It’s a standalone but they could’ve slid a little Easter egg in there but if they want to stray away from fucking those movies up I get it.
On the real side, it did feel like 2 completely different people. He killed that shit. I have no problem divorcing the person from their job. I say bring him back as the Flash in the new universe. Fuck it. I don't care if Ezra has to do work release from prison.
I was clowning Ezra without mercy. Made me eat my words. I don't mind that shit though. I'll take being entertained over being right.
DC should have found a way to keep this Gunn shit underwraps.
