First Look at Black Adam

That's par for the course for DC......until they need another crossover event
Not to mention they still on their"You got to get clearance to use this charactter or that character"so no Arrowverse versions of Wonder Woman or Aquaman..in the cases of Joker and Harley Quinn they not allowed to have them in the Arrowverse PERIOD

Their movies are mediocre and they only had pockets of continuity. It was nowhere close to what Marvel has been doing.
Mediocre? That's debatable. If that us the case, most of the MCU movies have been mediocre sandwiched between a few really good films.

Let's not forget that one DC earned more awards than all MCU movies combined.

Nonetheless, as I stated before, I own stock in Disney and Time Warner, so I hope they both continue to make money.

It won't save D.C. .... as always.... they will find a way to screw it up.... rest assured....

Your such a liar and a troll,

I did laugh at that post though
So let's be honest....

Within the past 3 years since 2018 DC put out

Aquaman
Shazam!
Joker
Birds of Prey
Wonder Woman 1984
Zack Snyder's Justice League
The Suicide Squad

WW84 was the only dud. BoP was Cool. Everything else was great!!! Not trolling just being honest.

Now if we are being honest, many casual marvel fans have this talent of bouncing back and forth between full Marvel and MCU when it suits them and their argument. Many will claim all things Marvel until a true comic fan points out the duds. Then the reply is always, well, that's not MCU.

I like both. Always have, always will. DC had their run. Marvel is having their run. These next few years will be interesting. Black Widow and Shang Chi are not great signs of things to come though.

Yep. They need to embrace it.

Sounds like hate. Other than WW84, DC been putting out some good ish.

Just as much as Marvel

Who says Black Adam is going to be defeated? I think we will leave the theater like "dang, that was messed up what Black Adam did." Lol!!
Show me another Wolverine

stfu

I am a comics fan, I don't adhere to 1 company myself either. If I had to choose favorites

Image > Marvel/DC

There is no reason DC can't do what Marvel is doing right now and tell a cohesive story amongst all the heroes/villains that exists under their catalog.
We all have films we enjoyed from them. But the time for stand alone comics films is done. We want to see that shared universe pop off right

Forgot about fandom. That trailer was nice. I don’t know if even the rock can save DC. like Tito said, IF DC can just focus on their movies and give them the same attention they do wit their animated universe they’d rival marvel. And we the fans would would benefit because you’d have two behemoth universes trying to go head to head. Also they better fix that overly comedic Shazam garbage if they ever want to have a meet up.

I get what you're saying but before marvel even began to tap into the multiverse they established things in ONE UNIVERSE FIRST and did them very well.

DC haven't accomplished much outside of TV and their animated division but we're gonna be ok with them confusing the fuck outta everybody with multiple Flash's and Batman on screen?

NO. How can they establish this on TV (the CW of all places) but never mention it or make reference to it in not one single movie that has been released since the event. Not saying they have to follow the marvel formula, but Marvel introduced their multi-verse by using characters from the movies in their own shows, so they have that connection. No one watching Justice League or Aquaman is gonna know that Supergirl is out there on another earth. If anything, they should use this new Flash movie, which it seems like they are, to establish their multi-verse.

Another DC failure - "lets announce a multiverse by using Arrow, Supergirl and Flash and we can throw Black Lightning in there as well". 3 of the 4 related shows are done and we wont see any of those characters in any movies. DC failed at this attempt....again.

Wait a second... how did Marvel 'establish a multiverse' by using characters from the movies in their own shows? Which specific characters are you talking about? And which shows? Because I don't recall characters from ENTIRELY DIFFERENT UNIVERSES being mentioned (and used) in any Marvel Movies.

Thanos is from the same Universe as Guardians of the Galaxy... and the GOTG are from the same universe as Iron-Man.. and he is from the same universe as Captain America.

Captain Marvel doesn't establish a multi-verse.
Because her origin story takes place during the 80's... in the same universe as Nick Fury / SHIELD.

- Ant-Man explores the sub-atomic Quantum Realm.
- There's no 'alternate version' of The Avengers fighting bad guys in the Quantum Realm. :hmm:
- Nobody who watched the The Winter Soldier is gonna think there's an 'alternate earth' in the Quantum Realm. :hmm:

So which Marvel characters & shows prove the existence of a MULTI-Verse? Please explain.

The only time we've heard of a MCU multi-verse is through the recent "Loki" and "What If" tv shows.

On the flip side...

- DC introduced their multiverse during the past several years, on their MOST POPULAR tv show that was #1 in ratings ("The Flash")
- They also incorporate the multiverse in their "Legends of Tomorrow" tv show.
- So Anyone who ever watched The Flash (Or Legends) tv show would know that DC has its own multiverse.

But please keep this same energy if/when you see 3 different Spider-Men appear in "No Way Home", in a few months.

You won't be able to have it both ways, by claiming that Marvel 'is allowed' to do it... but DC is not. :hmm:

Loki is where they established the different universe just recently. And did you see Venom?

My point is, if you don't watch the CW shows how would you know of any relationships between the movies and shows? Titans and Don't Patrol don't even reference the CW shows.
I'm not saying only marvel is allowed to do it, I want DC to do it as well, they need to.

I guess I wasn't clear enough so my bad.

Marvel has done everything thus far in one universe. This I know. My thing is what they've done in this one universe (phase 1 thru 4) was done very well before even mentioning a multiverse in the Loki TV series... and again it was done VERY WELL, wrapped up perfectly with Infinity War and Endgame.

So before they even did anything outside of this current universe or mentioned a multiverse they established things in one time line, successfully, over a period of 10+ years.

That's my point.

Yes DC has established their infinite earths or whatever they call it on tv and in their animated divisions, but that does not and will not reach the same audience as a film with a multi million dollar budget designed to bring in both hard-core comic readers and casual fan.

I'm uninterested in this because of The Rock. I used to be a fan of his movies. But the bigger he has become the less his movies have interested me. It's boring to watch a character in an action flick barrel through the movie taking no damage. His movies have made up stakes (I know it's a movie). By that I mean it's an illusion of stakes but there's no real consequences because he'll shrug off anything thrown his way. And this is based on his contract that forbids him from getting hit too much or ever being on the ground. Aside from Pain & Gain, all of his roles are essentially the same. With this being a superhero/antihero those traits of shrugging off all damage is going to be amplified. I'll look at the YouTube clips of the action after it leaves theaters. Personally I'm glad DC got to him before Marvel. I prefer to see actors with more acting range or versatility in Marvel movies. Captain Marvel notwithstanding.
