Fire TV+XBMC = Win

If you have a chromecast you might want to look into showbox. To cast the showbox content which is very extensive you will need one of these apps, bubble upnp, allcast, avia, or local cast. Each of them work good . With bubble upnp you can also cast xbmc. To do so you'll need to download xbmc Gotham 13 media center on your PC and use bubble upnp as a remote and cast. But trust me if you haven't already heard of showbox you will be thanking me later. For movies and TV shows it's ridiculous

Dude, hold on buying a Fire TV or GBox because I get the feeling they are very close to making xbmc work with Plex on PC. Just announced that they found away to do it with Android phones so it's a matter of time. In the meantime, enjoy itin your PC or Tab that's what I'm doing my Microsoft Surface Tab is a Mobile Movie Theater & Blockbuster

the video playback is so slow. just got the gbox

Werd? I dnt have cable, I have Netflix, Hulu Plus and my old lady finds pretty much anything we missing on the tablet and shit. Im jus missing my sports...and Im not paying a cable bill for espn.

i need to move the router closer i guess. the content is awesome, mind blowing, 1channel, freecable etc you will never be without something to watch. my playback is horrible with it.

my netflix and amazon prime playblack flawlessly

tampabay,

Are you wired or wireless? I always suggest wired. Also, what is your broadband speed? It is recommended to have download speeds of at least 4 mb/s. Check your video playback settings. Finally, some streaming links are just shitty. Try different ones.

yo how to I fix FREE CABLE on XBMC? I keep getting script errors it barely plays any of the channels

How do you setup the VPN so that way your internet provider doesnt see that I am streaming movies every day?

G-box Midnight MX2 is all you need. I use mashup to get live tv. You get HBO, Showtime, Cinemax, NFL network, Espn, and Nba network all for free. You can even watch live boxing pay per views in HD. All you need is broadband.

I started working on a guide for a couple of friends and for this forum but I got side tracked with work, school, and other real life shit. However, during the holiday break I had some time to finish it. I came across this outstanding source. I initially started pilfering shit from it to add to mine before I realize that the dude had everything covered. He does a great job covering the basics to advance. Hell I didn't even have Pseudo TV setup but now I do courtesy of this mofo.

Enjoy!

Thanks...

There were a few things I didn't know about.

copped a MX2 special edition from ebay but the wifi or network cable couldnt connect. So i copped a Intel NUC, loaded Windows 8 and XMBC and it's running well.

Great advice, some things I didn't know about too.

What are you using in lieu of Mashup TV? Sports Devil and Porn Devil?

I've been using Genesis. Also despite the quirky interface...navi-x is good at finding movies recently released. Plus the HD links seem to work well.
