Also, your boy Paulie Malignaggi got KO'ed in the eighth round. Once again, he says it's about a wrap for him boxing.

damn...I need to find a way to catch that thurman/garcia fight in HD

Fucked up that Tony Ferg/Khabib got called off. But it'll give me time to peep Garcia/Thurman though.

Round one
Haye thrown off balance within the first minute, and both fighters exchange big swings. Remarkable start to a 12-round fight, Bellew looks fast and Haye looks wide open and loose. The heavy favourite has something to think about after that opening bout. Plenty of gasps from the crowd and rarely do you see two fighters go that hard that early.

Round two
Haye using his jab and fighting in a more orthodox fashion now, and the heavyweight will know he is in a contest after a bumpy first round. Bellew goes for big right hand that partially lands, before Haye responds with a jab. Fascinating stuff so far, this is not going to script.

Dam good nite for fight fans... Even with Khabib bowing out. I wonder how much longer Woodley can make weight at 170. No way thats a easy cut for him imo..

Round three
It does not seem that Haye's explosive early knock-out is going to materialise. Bellew is standing up well to some big shots, and the longer the fight goes on the more confident he should be. Haye tries to sneak in a punch after the bell and Bellew laughs it off. Coldwell tells Bellew to go low.

Round four
The round started in quite stand-offish fashion, but a few well placed Haye jabs allow him to land a hurtful right-left combination on Bellew - his best moment of the fight so far. Haye is backing himself to out power Bellew, and is throwing everything at him as soon as the Liverpudlian opens up.

Round five
Could this fight go the distance? Few would have predicted it, but Bellew has avoided the early knockout blow. Haye slowing Bellew with a pair of jabs to the body. Bellew on the ropes and Haye lands a couple of really big shots which brings a style to his face. Well-boxed round that from Haye, but we're ticking towards the stage of the fight when some feel he could be vulnerable.

Round six
Nice right hand from Bellew at the start of the round. The HUGE DRAMA! Haye slips and looks to have injured his knee badly. Knowing he can't continue, he tries to swing for the knockout but he can barely stand. Goes down on his knees on three occasions but just about makes the count. Some in the crowd cheering Bellew to finish him off, some wincing at what looks a dangerous situation for Haye.

Round seven
Commentators speculating that it is Haye's Achilles that is the issue. Extraordinary determination from Haye, but this is a survival mission now. Bellew still can't finish him off however, despite the referee taking a close look at the situation. Both fighters are limp by the end of this round - Haye because of his injury and Bellew because he has punched himself out. By the grace of God, Haye gets to the bell.

Round eight
Haye cannot gain the traction through his feet to the ground in order to throw a punch, but managed to land a left hand from nowhere. If Bellew does not win this, Haye will give him unbearable stick. The scouse fighter has three and a bit rounds to do the job. Haye drops his hands, but Bellew's hands are not as fasts as usual with the extra weight he is carrying.

Round nine
Perhaps the trip to Munich was not as innocuous as claimed? Haye did land a few shots at the start of the round, but they did not affect Bellew in the slightest. Left to right hook from Haye, and Bellew is offering very little. Given the circumstances, that was relatively comfortable for Haye. Not so comfortable for Bellew, who took a snide shot in the family silver.

Round 10
Bellew approaches this round with more aggression, but again is not quite firing enough combinations to finish off this contest. Good left hand from Haye gets through Bellew's defences. The hoary footballing adage that it can be 'harder against 10 men' is apt here. Bellew in such a position of dominance that he is not sure what to do; he will not have prepared for this scenario.

A huge upset in highly unusual circumstances
Both fighters embrace at the end of the fight, Bellew knows he has taken out a sitting duck there. Haye feel through the ropes, and may have just got back up before the count but his corner threw in the towel. Bellew in tears. That is surely one of the biggest upsets in British boxing history.

Damn.... Adonis Creed did MUCH better than Haye against this dude.
