Well let's see. I would imagine that the "all" you're talking about that went out to protest were largely black people that traveled to Ferguson to support the effort and probably aren't local. Also I can't speak for the current residents of Ferguson, but if I lived there and the Mike Brown murder took place with no justice, hell I'd just move to a place where I wasn't treated like that. Perhaps a lot of the black people there had the same idea. Then again, like the lady in the video stated, the real power in that town doesn't reside with the Mayor anyway so why bother? Who knows why only 14% showed up. Hell, it may be another disinformation campaign where a black majority did show up, but whites fucked up the voting process and only reported 14%. Who knows? The real problem is not whether or not black people showed up, but the fact that they had to be expected to show up in force in the first place. The system itself is fucked up. And you can't fix a system by working to perpetuate it. I can't say that enough. Black people been trying to fix this system by working within it for over 50 years with no success. At what point does this fruitless endeavor start to become a fool's errand? It seems people that whine about economic empowerment and owning businesses in the black community are too focused on the tactics and not the strategy. Instead of begging for a seat at the white man's capitalistic table how about focusing on true self sufficiency?

OK Dumbass......Im going to tell you one more thing... my best friend is a Dominican cat. I grew up with him. We both grew up in a mixed community. He bacame a cop and after being on the force for a few years he told me that he views blacks differently. He said he sees blacks as a bunch of savage animals. He said 95% of the calls that come in is looking for a young black male. He said his area of patrol is in an upscale white neighborhood and blacks go to these neighborhoods just to commit crimes.
He left the force but he told me that he can see why cops just shoot black people. After years of dealing with these dusty ass pants sagging mop head tattood up losers you develop a deep hatred for them, especially when nobody else but them are committing heinous violent crimes.
This is the perspective of most non blacks. Why do you think 1000's of cacs sent Zimmerman all that money. They didn't care about innocence or guilt. They are just tired of young black males. They probably figured well maybe treyvon is innocent but the other 9 that we didn't catch we're guilty so this evens it out. People are just sick of us. That's why cops can kill young black men and nothing happens to them. We portray ourselves like fucking animals, then we're confused when we're treated like animals. I write large because the resolution on my monitor is very high and I sit waaaaayyyy back from the TV I use as a monitor. Nothing emotional about it at all. I can tell you're pretty young and fired up. I've lived long enough to realize that systems determine outcome. Systems influence behavior. The immigrants you talk about that come here and thrive are from different systems. They have different motivations. They have different cultures and traditions that allow them to do just fine. And what makes you think ALL black people are living foul. I personally don't know any of the people you describe in your tirades. There's lots of success in the black community DESPITE a fucked up system that's designed to limit our growth. If all you have to offer is insults then you should fuck off. My people don't need that.

A lot of people in Ferguson realized that these white people are out to kill us. They may have moved but I know a lot of them started trying to organize in secrecy. Politics and white education is not going to save us.
I don't get mad at children. But to answer your question: Natives are less than 1% of the population. So there numbers will be low. Geography is the easy answer to why there are so many more black people in prison then white or Latino. The highest concentrations of poor people live in inner cities. Take a guess at what color those people are and why they've been herded into the inner city ghettos? There's lots of room to spread out in trailer parks and low income barrios. The population density is much less. So we've got high concentrations of poor black people living in and around the wealth capitals of the nation. What do you think the outcome would be? Also even though black people have been here from the beginning there's also been an organized effort to disenfranchise black people. Everyone else that comes over here has been shitted on as well, but the difference is they have always chosen to come here and if the block got too hot they could always go home. What do you think it does to a person psychologically when you don't have that option? Let's say I wanted to open a business in Brazil. I go there learn the language, set up shop and it all goes to shit. Well that didn't work so I guess I'll head back to Virginia and get a second wind. Hmmmm...I return with a better plan and this time I'm a success. Perhaps this is the formula most foreigners use and that's why its so hard to find their communities fucked up. Again, you're not thinking it through.
I'm 46 and was raised in a single mother household. Same goes for my two best friends. We're all over 6 figures, multiple homes, degrees, etc. Hell, I'm even a member of Mensa. Most of the people I know are from broken homes and are very successful and have managed to stay on the right side of the law. I'm not necessarily buying your out of wedlock kids theory.

If you're so accomplished how can you be so much in denial? I'm speaking facts, not conjecture. 3/4 of us are from single mother households. If you look at the stats, over the past 50 years, as single motherhood in the black community raised, the black prison rate raised with it. It actually almost mirrored it. The reason why Africans, hispanisc, asians aren't as pathetic as we are is because their women actually have brains and they know that a kid is serious business. It's not some stuffed animal or puppy that looks cute and you can neglect it. These women understand that children require money so they wait until they finish their education and get married before having kids.
