Favourite Airline/Airport?

Emirates is excellent. So is Turkish, though I haven't flown them in a couple of years. Virgin it's been too long for me to evaluate. US-based, United and Delta suck ass. And then suck each other's ass. I dread flying in the US because Jet Blue doesn't fly everywhere. Wherever they do, they're the best US carrier.

It's fucking amazing how much money the airlines make and how they constantly make conditions worse for passengers; even first class. It's called "calculated misery." Google that shit. It'll make you want to fuck somebody up. And of course, lots of that money goes to lobbyists to persuade (aka payoff) congress to NOT take action.

As far as airports, since I'm so familiar with Idlewild, uh, JFK, I'll say it's my favorite. There are some overseas that are very nice but when problems arise (and you know they will) the service becomes terrible.

LAX is a mess; O'Hare is a mess; Hartsfield-Jackson is a train wreck; Newark-Liberty is a crackhouse; La Guardia is undergoing massive construction which will most likely make it very pleasing to the eye, however, the vehicular access is still horrendous and those short fucking runways are a no-go for me.

United completes its inaugural New York-Cape Town nonstop flight

Sunday night, United Airlines Flight 1122 departed Newark Liberty International Airport bound for Cape Town, marking the first time United Airlines has operated service to South Africa. It’s also the first time any carrier has flown nonstop between North America and Cape Town, so naturally it’s been a cause for celebration for leisure and business travelers in the New York City area and beyond.

Now, United’s vice president of international network, Patrick Quayle, has confirmed that the route has been such a success that it’ll return for the 2020-21 season as well, running from late 2020 through March 2021, with a possible launch as early as November.

Currently, the flight operates with the below schedule, though it’s likely United will increase the frequency for next year’s northern winter season.

Newark (EWR) 8:30pm Departure → Cape Town (CPT) 6:00pm (+1) Arrival (Wed, Fri, Sun)
Cape Town (CPT) 8:50pm Departure → Newark (EWR) 5:45am (+1) Arrival (Mon, Thu, Sat)

United is currently working to finalize next year’s schedule, so it isn’t possible to book a flight just yet. Still, for anyone hoping to travel to the Mother City next year, you can rest assured that you’ll be able to fly nonstop from the U.S. with United.

We’ve touched down in South Africa! This historic inaugural flight celebrates the only nonstop service between North America and Cape Town. At 7,819 miles, New York/Newark to Cape Town is the sixth longest flight in our network.

For international flights: COPA. Hands down.

Timely.
Fine ass flight attendants.
Free meal
Free drank
You can use United Airlines points

Spirit is cool if you traveling light. I always pay the extra $25 to get a seat close to the front.

Favorite airport for international travel: Atlanta. I always get shown mad love. Especially having Global Entry.

My second choice is a tie between FLL and MIA, strictly for the eye candy.

Been flying more the past 5 - 6 years. Primarily with Westjet or Air Canada. Haven't had any major complaints or issues. The Air Canada planes seemed newer and more modern. Westjet felt more cramped with the leg room, but better and roomier with the older planes (on the shorter connecting flights to finish the trips). Been in the airports in Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto, Cuba, Mexico (2 of them), and LA lately. Interesting seeing how they're all laid out.

KLM for my long haul flights back home (10+hours)
British Airways, KLM (777 or Dreamliner), Turkish Airways ( 777-300er)
