Fat Joe says Takeoff's impact on Hip Hop was as big as Run D.M.C's

Fat Joes has nothing else to talk about or say so he says things like this for the shock value cause the Migo's doesn't come close to Run DMC at all or never will they ever.

Joe does a lot of lying, exaggerating, saying things that only he can confirm cause no one else is saying it.

-During the east vs west he was the only poortoe rice'n in LA
-Suge knight was robbing people but no one touched him
-What 2pac was in a NY prison Joe was the one looking out for him via the Poortoe Rice'n but It really Rakim& Eric B's people,Bumpy Knuckles,Supreme that were the ones who was making sure he was good.

-Joe had nothing but everything to do with Remy's and Cuban's face getting cut....terrible Music exect.
-He missed out on millions for keeping it too real, this situation, this company, that company.....Joe ain't turning down nothing but his jacket collar cause it's not like he's high on that concert list.
-I like Joe,I like the fact that him and Pun,say that their black and that they come from Poortoe Rico.

The new one is he strong-armed Puff into doin the Don Cartagena joint because Puff wouldn't let Biggie on it.

That nigga be talkin like he John Gotti.

I'd say Hispanics were part of the hip hop/b boy movement as far as the break dance era of "hip hop" went but as far as "rap music" is concerned, I would have to say no they weren't. The break dance records that were played in the clubs and skating rinks where the break dancings took place was not rap, more so funky ass hip hop beat records. Hip hop and rap are two different things.. IMO

Why do even black people not know what hip hop and rap are???

Once again, Hip Hop is that culture with 4 elements that define it.

Breaking, Graffiti, Dj'ing, and rap..

It's embarrassing that we don't know this anymore

Is it me or this fat Humpty Dumpty just needs to shut the fuck up. He’s a guest in hip hop and needs his mouth sealed. His low iq already thinks his people were 50 percent of rap.

Why are y’all so mad about Joe. A Guest in HipHop. No member of the D.I.T.C crew should be disrespected as such. How many rapper from 92-93 are still relevant? Cube, Snoop, Joe, Busta, Bun B, LL. Y’all mad that young cats don’t respect the elders but then shit on ‘em every chance y’all get.

I don’t agree with everything Joe says. Anyone who is in the market of capturing ears and eyeballs should be taken with a grain of salt.

I will say this in defense of some black people as far as knowing hip hop culture. Depending where you lived in the country, greatly diminish your hip hop knowledge. I remember going to Tuscaloosa AL to visit in the mid 80s from New York and they were a minimum of 10 years behind. Gotta rember before the internet, somes parts had no way of staying up with the hip hop way of life.

That's interesting. I grew up in Talladega County during that period, which is east of Birmingham whereas Tuscaloosa is west of Birmingham. I remember our local radio station and the black Birmingham stations would carry some of the Hip Hop shows from the New York stations. I explicitly remember Mr. Magic's show. My cousin in Connecticut would drop the latest stuff from NYC, but I never felt we were more than a few months behind.

But Yo MTV Raps really leveled the playing field, bringing NY and West Coast Hip Hop into every part of the country.

Yeah! In New York we had DJ Red Alert, Chuck Chillout at 9 to midnight every Friday and Saturday night. That's where you would hear the first up and coming rappers like Dana Dane, Slick Rick and UTFO etc before they became mainstream.

I could be exagerating about the 10 years but I do know they were behind. I remember they had never heard of Rob Base and I wore the RUN DMC Adidas gear and they looked at me like I was an alien.. Clothing like that "never" made there.

I will say migos impact was as big or bigger than run dmc on hip hop

Run dmc era introduced hip hop to rock n roll America. Migos era hip hop became world wide.

You actually couldn't be more wrong.

Run DMC introduced Hip Hop to the world. The ly were the first rappers to have a platinum album. They were also huge overseas.

Sadly you're wrong and everyone knows it but you, and what's even sadder is that you believe what you're saying and will never admit to being wrong.

But you're tragically wrong in this case.
