Fake vs Real Beats by Dre Studio what to look 4

I got the Studios. I have to say that they are way overpriced. The noise cancellation is outstanding and the sound is nice. The problem is you can get comparable headphones for half the price. Although they will not look as sporty and no hoes at the gym will ask you how they sound.

But only happened to me twice.


And they were fat

I own the real beats pro and fake black detox. They both sound identical the real one sounds a tiny bit better and has a better build quality, other than that they are the same and definitely not worth 400$ price tag.

Both of these sound great, of course, as others have said, you won't be in style with everyone at the gym, but these things will have you:dance:

At the gym i typically wear in ears...either panasonic cheap ones that sound good, or senheissers.

The newer Beats headphones now come with a 10 digit serial number above the left ear cup. All u gotta do is go to the Beats website and u type in the serial number to check for authenticity.
 
These are the BEST EAR PLUGS EVER. Don't be fooled by the Price (Under 20 bucks) as some Cheap shits.It's like workman's Ear Plugs, you squeeze them before putting them in your ear and they take shape, fit extremely well and block out 85-90% of outside sound allowing only the music to come in.

after owning 3 pairs of dre head phones my verdict is :smh::smh::smh:


to me its to much damn base the need to have a switch or something to adjust them shits

I got these as Costco about a year ago with a coupon for $15...

To date these are the best I have ever had, Billet Aluminum, Kevlar Reinforced Cable and each bud has a built in mic so I can talk on the phone while both buds are in my ear. The sound quality is unmatched...when these place out I may look towards KOSS due the the lifetime warranty
 
It's funny that this thread come up because me and my wife was discussing this topic last. Everyday I go to work I see some Jr./High School kids with some Dre beats and im like damn aren't them shits expensive how every lil saggy pants cornballs have a pair? And my wife said to me they got Booda ones I was like saaaaaaay word..I didn't believe it until I seen like 20 different fake sites selling for 40% 50% 60% off. I'm like damn im getting old I can't even keep up with what's hot in the streets. Now every kid I see with them I assume its fake. Bootlegging is a hell of a drug! LOL

I see young dudes in the mall with them on just to be wearing them...I should have known they was bootleg. Here in Dallas they have started raid damn near every china shop in town and have scored big bootleg busts.

I wonder when will they get so bold they start to bootleg cars:lol:

Best buy gets full return credit for their monster headphones, so I don't understand how that happened. They don't sell used headphones because they fear cosmetic issues and ear grease.
 
I was at Bestbuy yesterday and saw a open box of the Beats Studio's they was only 30$ off though. I was like hell no them shits probably fake as hell like dude said above someone probably bought fakes and switched them shits. And what the fuck bestbuy why would I save 30$ on some used shuts when I can spend 30$ more and have brand new authentics
 
I knew people were frontin' with them fake ass joints. Here in NY, you'll see a pair damn near every 10 minutes. I KNOW muffukkas ain't droppin' $300+ like that!
 
If Monster runs another clearance i would possibly mess with them, but there are many other alternatives at a better cost point. Like others have said, they are more of a fashion thing.

I have listened to them at Best Buy and they sound good, but so do my Sony 7506's @ $100:yes:

My headphones are V-Moda, I might get these.

You might want to check out the warranty on these. I know with the headphones I think it's a 2 year warranty and after that they give you $100 off towards the purchase of a new pair if they go out.

Nice ones. I was gonna get the Beats by Dre but instead I copped the Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro 80 ohms along with a decent Fiio amp:

Saw a dude in the gym working out with Dre headphones looking fucking stupid.
 
Not sure why it would look stupid, they're just like the athletes who get them free, and you'll see them on the field with them on prior to the games.

It was one of the first ways Monster/Beats started marketing their headphones.

I remember they gave the Olympic basketball players free headphones.

That $200 or $300 write off, was worth hundreds of thousands in advertising with the way CBS, NBC, Fox and ESPN covered the NFL and other sports.
