I have one, but I'm just using it for business reasons.

I'm laughing at the fact that a bunch of brothas being opinionated about Facebook, but they hang out on a PORN MESSAGE BOARD all day.
Basically lmao what else am I supposed to do on my computer at work or while my BGOL data is downloading? I ain't gonna lie... got kinda addicted to some of those games. FB is cool though, especially if you moved from where you grew up at. I wouldn't have known about my 10 year reunion in well advance if it wasn't for it... With that being said, if you're in a relationship, that shit may not be for you. My Ex would Get maaaaddddd jealous about that shit.

It is too easy to get caught up with hoes. Once your pic is tagged, you are easily found and spied on. I am a old fashioned dude, I still believe in visiting real friends and making phone calls. If a childhood friend can't find me, all they have to do is go by my parents' house and leave their contact info, or speak when we cross paths. I always pass through old hoods, catch up on shit, talk to friends' parents, and exchange numbers. People from work are associates, rarely real friends. College friends can find me through other college friends. Most the them facebook people are fence stragglers, gossipers, wannabe's, or haters. If we did not talk in school or college, we don't need to talk now. A head bop or a pound will due when you see me!!
Bottom line, if a real friend wants to find or talk to me, they will find me, call me, or visit me. I deal with with bitches as I go, deal with whatever crosses my path.

So the "mean girls" of my highschool are already looking 30 something and they are all under 24. Now they all weren't skinny, but they were in much better shape 6 years ago.

I got to know more movers and shakers like myself. Plus I've been invited to events where I probably wouldn't have gotten word of. In the political world Facebook has been a blessing for me. I haven't dated anyone yet off of there yet, but I see the potential of finding a date at convenience when I got see Death At the Funeral next week. Call me a loser, but I'm fine with who I am.

I was on facebook since undergrad. I use that shit to fuck girls on campus and off campus. Now I hardly log in, I don't put anything up there like where I'm working only my school and my gender. I have a personal list for random mofos or co-workers who add me who I don't want in my business. I never saw the need for facebook but my roommate force me to join it. Now I just update my status from my phone or upload pictures to my mobile album which is only limited to friends.

You do realize you basically just described BGOL right? Sigs and Avatars some what represents. At the end of the day on facebook I get to see who is lying to me and less drama than BGOL.
