He couldn't get out of his own way. All the FBI needed to do was let him be. He would just continue to self-destruct.
Only interst they would have in him are his links with gangbangers, the old Panthers and criminals like Suge Knight & Co. There's no evidence of him influencing any type of rally or revolt through his music. He was way too self-involved, and busy getting high and/or fucked.

You must of lost your fucking mind to compare Biggie and Tupac to Malcolm X and Martin Luther King. I suggest you read there autobiographies so you can understand what a true black leader is. And Tupac's message wasn't that powerful. All he did was copy a little bit of the things that Malcolm and Martin said. If you want true black power music you need to listen to Public Enemy. Chuck D never slacked on his message.

Better to do right then wrong. Pac might of influenced more people then Chuck D but for the most part his influence on Black Culture isn't positive. "Thugs", thieves, murderers, and drug dealers all loved Pac because Pac spoke to them and promoted there actions with some of his rhymes. Sure he would say something positive in the next song but you can't mix the two together. Chuck D did things that right way and didn't sellout for popularity.
People always talk about Tupac's black panther roots and how he preached "black pride" but if you compare his actions to the teachings of Malcolm X and the original black panthers he doesn't fit in. Read about the original Black Panthers involvement in the California communities.
Malcolm X, Marcus Garvey, MLK, etc....Created messages for a certain group of people. Tupac catered to everybody and you can't please everybody and make a positive change. Tupac didn't even live his life with the discipline to be an effective leader.
