Every Friend I know that Rides a Motorcycle has had wrecks no it just not for me

I don't know how anyone can ride a motorcycle after seeing people drive. People are freaking crazy. They don't use turn signals. They don't pay attention. I fear for my life while I'm driving a car around these people. I can't even imagine riding a motorcycle

When I was a kid I was on punishment and my brother went somewhere. When he got home he said he witnessed an accident, the aftermath of an accident.

He saw an arm, a helmet with the head still in it. That was it. That was the last time I seriously considered riding a motorcycle

We can't forget about those bikers that thread the seam (driving between cars) on the highway. There have been times where if I didn't bother to check my side mirrors, I could've easily ended a person's life. Some bikers are too cocky.

I actually bought myself a project bike after not riding for about 8 years that I am building into a cafe racer. Its a fun dad / son weekend project

Speed is the LAST thing on my mind at this age. I have owned a few superbikes and it was adrenaline crazy.

Cruising is it for me as there is just euphoric freedom that cannot be explained and these drivers dont give a fuck.

A Cafe racer pic for reference:

I wanna ride to get away from people, I would ride through the countryside or just cruise on like a Saturday morning.

Maybe learn how to wheelie, but no interest in racing.

I like it! Yea, I just want to experience the freedom of riding.

I got a question, how y'all get into riding?

I didn't have a father or brothers, and none of my uncles rode motorcycles. I think I was 24 before I ever knew anybody with a motorcycle. I didn't want to ask him to teach me how to ride.

Man, my love affair with 2 wheels started with my bicycle. I had a scrap book I would collect every picture of a bike from every magazine I could find.

None of my family ever rode a bike, or anyone I knew personally, but I knew I had to.

In my late twenties, I finally bought my first machine. Was a honda cbr 600. I actually could not ride it home, so I asked a friend to ride it home for me. He showed me the basics, gave me some advice, and the very next day, I just took that shit out the gate, up the road and that was it.

I had so many chicks jock me, it was insane. Women blowing kisses at the stop light and all and every hot girl in town wanting to ride with me.

Eventually, I linked up with some other bros, and I got into stunting (very briefly) and racing on the track. Really fun times.

Too old to relive those days, but not too old for the rush it gives me everytime I start this little puppy up.

So you knew somebody that knew how to ride. I aint know the throttle was on the handle until I took the class in 2019.

:lol:Did you ride a bicycle as a kid?

And to be honest, in my first era of bike riding, i really didn't understand the true mechanics of the bike, or how all the parts really came together to make it work. I just took that shit to the mechanic and told him to make sure my shit was tip top.

Since I am doing a build, I had to pull down and rebuild and learn all the shit that I was previously mostly clueless about.

Saturday morning / Sunday morning cruise is where Im at. Fuck all the wheelie shit. You will break something trying to learn.

Yoooooo!!!

That oinker needs his ass kicked. The disregard so many of them have for human life is astounding. The smallest of shit and they respond so extreme. If someone on a bike is too close(he wasn't based on the video.) Either pull him, or move the fuck over. Cause you know they aint gonna stop. To do this was some bitch shit.

I aint had a bike in 10 over years. Planning to get another one around this time next year. Probably a Busa, but maybe a Gsxr 1000 if I can find the right one.

It’s a young man thing I got out the game with no tickets and no injuries and I was a young fool on a bike ..... Get a convertible
