This wasn't a live show.So how can they fire him?
The point ballscout was making still still stands, though.
If this dude has been playing next to you for better than a decade and whatever behavior he has exhibited hasn't kept them from being cool with him, then why would him coming out all of a sudden change that unless they just got a problem with gay people?
Being cool with him and taking a shower with him are two different things though man...
ESPN wont get at Chris for shit.
He has his beliefs and he did not discriminate against anyone or any group whatsoever.
If people have a problem with what he said, they need to fight against whats written in the bible, cause Chris is just going by the bible's teachings.
Not a fan of Chris but he has a right to his opinion. He used "Christain values" as his platform so we will see how this plays out.
There wasn't anything wrong with what he said. The gay community wants you to agree with them 100% and when you don't you're labeled homophobic.
Chris statements were about as safe as you can get..he included 95% of people in the category of living outside of the Biblical standard, not singling out gays specifically..(but obviously this came up because of Jason Collins) fornicators and adulterers don't seem to be in an uproar over this..but gays will want his head..(no pun intended)
I don't think he should be fired or suspended. As an analyst, he was brought in to give his opinion and did so, and although people disagreed with him, he shouldn't be fired. He may be forced to "apologize" but thats it. Whether one agrees or disagrees with what he said, he was brought in and paid to give his opinion and he gave one. ESPN knew what they were doing. If he was doing NHL Playoff highlights on Sportscenter and out of no where went into his spiel, then I can see him getting fired/suspended.
Agreed!! But the fucking gay people are so sensitive! !
masturbation is a sin according to the bibleHe probably thinks masturbation is a sin too, right?

I don't see what was so insensitive about what Wallace tweeted...PC run amok, that was no bash IMO.
If soldiers can live in barracks and shower with openly gay soldiers, then a dude paid hundreds of thousands to millions of dollars can as well.

Don't know why some of y'all trippin'. According to da bible that many of y'all dudes adhere to, it is. Makes me no difference tho'.![]()
Doesn't the bible say that god loves everyone and that we are all made in his image? And isn't against the Christian faith to judge others? I'm not a Christian but it seems like selective beliefs?
the line of thought when it comes to homos is that they engage in unrepentent sin so they don't ask for now do they get forgivness.
but the bible says that thou shalt not judge ....so Chris is speaking for the lord I guess.
NFL wide receiver Mike Wallace tweets insensitive remarks following Jason Collins’ coming out
![]()
Miami Dolphins wide receiver Mike Wallace has received some backlash after tweeting insensitive remarks following Jason Collins’ decision to come out as the first gay athlete playing a major American team sport.
The current NBA star has received a widespread support from his fellow athletes and celebrities.
Still, about an hour after the Sports Illustrated essay by Collins was released, The Miami Herald reports Wallace tweeted:
“All these beautiful women in the world and guys wanna mess with other guys SMH…” Followed by: ”I’m not bashing anybody don’t have anything against anyone I just don’t understand it”
![]()
Shortly after tweeting Mike Wallace deleted the two tweets, and offered an apology:
The National Football League responded to Wallace’s tweet by saying, “we are going to review the comment. This underscores the importance of education and awareness.”
The Miami Dolphins organization also responded, releasing this statement:
Mike Wallace has apologized for his comments, and we have addressed the matter with him. Mike’s comments do not reflect the views of the Miami Dolphins. We believe in a culture of inclusiveness and respect, and any statements to the contrary are in no way acceptable to our organization. We will address the entire team about our policy of inclusion and make sure they all understand the importance of respecting individual choices.

can't understand adhereing to a book that most lynchings and oppression has been shielded by.
mofokrs complain about the prison industrial complex but every black man that has ever been locked up has been done so after mofokrs place their hand on that book.
I understand womens fascination with church and the pastor cause he is that man in authority figure....I sure dont' understand men voluntarily being led by some man not their daddy.

No, it is not against Christianity to judge.
This notion stems from a verse often misinterpreted.
Matthews 7:1
1 Judge not, that ye be not judged.
Folks use this verse to reach this ill-informed conclusion because they don't regard the next verse which states.
2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again
The 2 verses simply states that if you judge then you will be judged by whatever measure you used to judge others.
It's stating the scales of justice must be equally applied to all.
Moreover, Chris is not even judging. He is stating what the bible states about homosexuality and fornication and whatever.
Judging will be more like saying any man that wears pink is a homo or any man that sticks his dick in a female's ass is a homo or watching a porn scene that includes your favorite male performer is homo.
If a man says he is a homo and the bible condemns homo activity then he is just stating the obvious.
The driving manual says you must make a complete stop at a stop sign so if someone says they don't stop then that person is violation of the rules of the road.
the point is , you have been taking showers with him for his 12 year career..
Nobody has come out to say he stands and stares at they dicks or drops the soap ..
So after taking all those non eventful showers over the years, now he says he is gay and you are now uncomfortable ?
I guess I understand since this is BGOL and every woman wants these tricks so that means every fag man must want them too.
These cats better not get locked up cause they won't wash they ass for their whole sentence and they won't be taking a shit either.

sometimes the most vocal opposition comes from undercovers on the same team.
that's all i gotta say.
whatchu mean , a hit dog hollars ?
Doesn't the bible say that god loves everyone and that we are all made in his image? And isn't against the Christian faith to judge others? I'm not a Christian but it seems like selective beliefs?
Mark Jackson said something similar, but covered it up better:
sometimes the most vocal opposition comes from undercovers on the same team.

Man ESPN annoys me.
They knew Broussard's stance on issues like this. They brought him on the segment to give his view and now are feigning regret.
BS tactics
What i been trying to tell folks, this is all an agenda to spark convo and push an agenda.
People have to accept the ignorant part of these sheep herder religions as well as what they consider the positives.
