ESPN's #1 High School Basketball Player of Alltime

Dejaun, was def better than Kevin Walls. He would have made a fine pro. Even Milt and Billy sat on the bench (I think Billy eventually got time with another team).

Still can't take away from Walls as a high schooler. I think he scored like 85 or so in one game. He scored his 40+ average against some of the better teams as well as chump teams. That Camden team when he was a freshmen was ranked number one in the nation, then got blown out by Neptune. What a shame.

I will never forget that game against Neptune. That Camden team with Milt Wagner,Billy Thompson&Kevin Walls was one of the best teams I ever saw.A player on that team who was real talented as well was Gary Ware. They averaged 105 points a game without a 3 point line.I remember them blowing the doors off Dematha at the seagull tournament.

Kevin Walls was a dick. He was my year and I played against him plenty of times. He started as a freshman on the team with future pros Milt Wagner and Billy Thompson. He got his 40 a night on the weak teams in South Jersey. Against the North Jersey teams he was regular. He played like he was the shit and he could shoot but he was 6'2" and was slow of foot. When Milt's son, Dejaun, got there he reminded me of Kevin Walls.

Kevin Walls was a beast. He had a knee injury his freshman year in Louisville and was never the same. There were some strong teams in south jersey back then Atlantic City with Willie Glass&Ralph Talley was the main rival.Plus Camden played The Dunbar's,Dematha's,Calvert Hall's,Boys&Girls from Brooklyn.Walls scored a ton of points.I remember Walls scoring over 60 on St.Agnes from Long Island when Billy Donovan the coach of florida was playing on that team.

I can agree with the top 5.Also Like others the best team I ever saw was Baltimore Dunbar.4 nba players and at least 8 other D-1 players. They had bench players going to Syracuse,Unlv etc etc.I will never forget when they came to Camden when Camden had Kevin Walls&Billy Thompson and they beat Camden by 30 at Camden.dunbar was #1 and Camden was #2 in the nation at that time. The best player I saw in high school was Lebron.

Dwayne "Pearl" Washington dusted pros off while still in high school. That okie doke shit didn't work to well in the NBA though.

Damn this list is imcomplete. No Earl Jones. No Connie Hawkins. These were high school legends. Not all high school legends went to the NBA.

Boys and Girls HS alums reppin...
