They not Batman
Prep time don't matter
(You walked right into that one)
Imagine
Eddie Murphy as old James Brown working a youth party
You have all the black cast on there confused why he was booked at the party
He tries to do his old hits and they're like man this wack
So then he does new hits as old James Brown?
He could even do lizzo good as hell in his James Brown funk way she crashes the stage like hold up what are you doing to my song?
He says some unintelligible shit and then he leaves and he bends down waiting for someone to put the cape on him and his faithful friend comes and puts it on him but he's old as hell so it takes him hella long to put it on while everyone is just being awkward?
One of those guys is not like the others. You won’t find a better scene in TV than this greatness here.

They really fucked up Black Jeopardy, which usually is funny. It was a decent show that fizzled out at the end. Still good to see Murphy come back to sketch comedy.
the ENTIRE cast of SNL of the last 10 years reaction to this...

I would hope Bill Cosby would have a sense of humor about the Murphy joke.
Maybe this is just Bill's publicist trying to drum up sympathy for Cosby.
That shit was funny though.Ed coulda stayed away from that Cosby shit

It was aiiiht
I never saw Eddie on SNL so I didn't have any nostalgia for those characters
I liked the Black Jeopardy and Christmas family skits
The Gumby shit was alright
'Back to being a Hollywood Slave': Bill Cosby's rep lashes out at Eddie Murphy after 'SNL' gig

Nah...that Christmas family joint was universal.Every skit he was in had a black person
stereotyped theme. I'm actually
surprised that he agreed with the writers
and directors to.do all of that cornball shit.
...but hey, it's SNL and they haven't been
funny in decades so i guess it was a par
for the course performance.![]()
Ed coulda stayed away from that Cosby shit
Try to find the special with all his skits, you'll probably appreciate this more after you see those. Classic shit. Even the mention of Joe Piscopo by Tracy Morgan will make more sense.I never saw Eddie on SNL so I didn't have any nostalgia for those characters
